After struggling with BuddyTV for over a year, this is a homerun.

So I’ve been using this for years, pre-price updates, and was considered an OG where I could track unlimited shows still (free). I just purchased a lifetime license anyway to support the dev bc this app is so fantastic. Seriously, I didn’t even care about the Plus features but man this app is so incredibly useful to someone like me with ADHD that I wanted to show support.

I am trying to set up a new device, but TV Time is getting stuck importing my data from iCloud

I’ve used probably hundreds of trackers and this is about the best. I mainly use it on MacOS and it works great. Wish it was optimized for Mac/iPad to give 3 column layout of views to be able to see list of shows, watchlist and a selected shows episode list at same time or some variation. Same for iPad.

I have try many similar APPS but none comes close to this APP. A great easy way to track your TV shows and discover upcoming exciting new shows

Just found out about this app and started using it today. Really well made app also goes to show you it doesn’t have to be the most popular platform to be the best. I really hope you have no plans to end this anytime soon and to keep the updates coming. 💙

2025 Update: the app has improved over time and continues to be the standard for TV show tracking. Great app but it freezes every time I open it. I have to force close it & then open it back up. It was worse before a past update to where multiple force close & re-opens just for the search feature to load correctly. Hopefully an update is coming soon for this issues.

I’ve used this app for many years and love it! It makes tracking TV shows really easy, and I never worry about missing new seasons.

I wanted to love this, but I mostly just like it. For some reason I can’t find certain short, one-word show titles in its TV show database. “Mom” is the most glaring example. Type it in the “Discover” text box and a bunch of Asian shows come up but not the long-running Chuck Lorre show that ran for years on CBS. Likewise “Back”, the Mitchell and Webb British series that had two six-show seasons and ran on basic cable- AMC or Sundance I think. How do these get left out for an app in the U.S.?

I have loved this application for more than 10 years now, but in recent months I have been noticing an increase in issues with sync’ing between devices. The most recent issue was on macOS where 5+ shows randomly show episodes that I marked completed 6+ months ago.

seems to have episode release awareness and info earlier and more in sync than other, but needs a apple tv app to complete things, and it wouldn't be hard to knock JustWatch off it's perch, just sayin'

Last update 2 months ago broke the app. No shows have updated watchlist including shows that have finished their seasons already. Disappointing to have to say goodbye after years of using.

Does what it is suppose to do. Makes it easy to keep track of progress. Good reference for future episode release timing.

Update: Thank you for the 2 column layout on iPad. Looks great! 🙌🏼 I’ve been trying all of the free TV tracking apps, but none of them hit all the marks. I pulled the trigger to purchase this app and give it a try… and so glad I did! Really great app guys! The answer to my dreams! Trying to remember what show we last saw on what channel it is on is no longer an issue. What episode, what channel, is the series complete or is there more to go? Pretty much anything you need to know about your shows is there. What is really cool is you load it on your phone and it loads on your computer so you can use either to manage it.

Too many other apps attempt to track television AND movies or everything else. I appreciate that this is focused on being a television tracker only and it can focus on doing it extremely well.

Doesn’t get updates that often - hard to justify a subscription to an app that gets an update every four months and doesn’t really have recurring server costs or anything.

Alphabetical ordering of proper names ignores indefinite articles. This app sorts every show that starts with the word “The” under the letter T. Not useful.

App got updated to 2.0 yesterday and now there is no way to see an episode list for an individual show. Is this a way to force me to purchase a subscription? I have been using this app for years and have been very happy with it. Update. Developer contacted me and explained how to see what I was looking for. All good :-)

This is an excellent app and a great substitute for iShows! However, an option to add comments and write ones would be greatly appreciated!

So the API this relies on is broke but it worked great before. Once this is fixed, I hope it would work great again. I bought this app awhile ago but now I see these new prices which are just insane…. Hopefully since I bought this long before I don’t have to worry about them.

I have been using this app for a few years. I love the interface as it is clean and easy to use. I bought the app when it was $5. Now that it’s subscription based, I haven’t had to pay anything as it provides everything it had before but not sure if that’s because I had previously purchased or if it’s because the extras are not obvious cash grabs. At this point, I would recommend this app. Would have been 5 stars but waiting to see if subscription model becomes intrusive.

Those who paid for premium features prior to Max changing his revenue model got screwed out of features of the new one. Anyone who tells him that and he tells a red herring about time being put into the app. I develop, fork, etc. open source software and have for years, and not once have I guilt tripped users for expressing disappointment in a change of monetization or blocking features.

Great app to track your shows! Fantastic developer and the support is second to none. Beautiful UI and syncs seamlessly with Traktv

This app is solid, and does a great job of what you need it to do. I will co ti he to use it. But some of the functionality is off. For example, if you select a show, decide you don’t like it, you’ll need it follow the pathway to searching for it and unselecting it. To refresh artwork, you must do so manually. And load times are quite slow all things considered. To be clear, it’s a few little tweaks away from being great. Just not there quite yet.

Two years on this app and it still works great. Maintained, clean, ad-free. Thanks Maximilian!

Pleas Please Please I would love to have a view choice of “Currently Watching” I enjoy going through shows that have ended or re-watching. I also want the current shows with upcoming air dates. Would love to have the option to manually select the shows to keep at the top. Thank you

I have the app connected to my Calendar app to show my shows in my calendar. But, whenever the app syncs with Trakt.tv it adds an extra calendar event for a couple shows. The only shows it adds duplicates of are Disney+ shows (Hawkeye & The Book of Boba Fett). It seems to not do it to any other shows on my calendar. Can this be fixed?

Like the interface and setup. One issue - the badge app icon isn’t working. The app isn’t even showing up in the Notification section of my phone.
