Love this app

This is my go-to app for weather living in central Texas. I love all the options.. the severe weather outlooks, alerts that actually show up (the weather channel app is useless for this), and the day by day and hourly forecasts. Having more than one radar choice is so useful, and it’s made predicting whatever is heading my way so much easier. Thank you to the team that created and maintains this app. It’s a genuine lifesaver.

App not working properly

My app isn’t working totally. Sections are showing ? Instead of information. I deleted then added it again and still the same problem. Otherwise I love this app.

Love this!

Everytime I go on this app it's detailed, accurate, and provides more information than a certain leading brand weather app. The radar is more detailed than any other apps I've used. I do however find it hilarious when something goes in front of the radar and makes a cone. Love this app, the people behind it deserve as much recognition and praise as possible.

Hourly forecast

Amazing app, accurate weather forecasts. My only issue is the hourly forecast , it’s small and can’t be enlarged making it difficult to make out the writing at the bottom of the hourly squares. Any chance of addressing this?

Good enough for what I need

I use several weather apps since many of them are reading information from different parts of town. (I don’t stay in one spot. I visit around town.) this app does have a lot of ad’s which can be annoying. Was thinking of paying to get rid of the ad’s but not paying a subscription or a fortune just for that. I can’t even find the price. (They say if you have to ask it’s too expensive.) Otherwise it helpful and serves its need at times. Other reviews say paying for the product makes it more frustr

Home screen ads make it hard to use app

Loved the app until the most recent update - I can’t get past the initial Home Screen (with the ad that takes up the whole screen. The link to go to the storm chaser’s home page is at the top of the screen but it is so high up, it is covered by my iPhone’s black bar rendering this app useless. Works on my iPad but I don’t always have the iPad with me. Please fix!!

Was our only warning!!!

On March 19th, 2020 we had a tornado out here in west Texas. None of the news stations were covering our bad weather. Texas Storm Chasers were the ONLY ones sending out warnings. The tornado came down our street and obliterated houses. Because of TSC, I had my kids in our bathtub with helmets and a mattress. Had the tornado made it to our house, they would have literally saved our lives. Forever grateful.

Decent App but Exaggerated Radar

I really like the functionality of this app but the intensity of their radar colors make even the smallest rain shower look like a violent thunderstorm is on its way. Kinda like the Boy Who Cried Wolf. Practically every rain shower is red and yellow and ominous looking. And then it just sprinkles…

Omg!!! YU SAVE LIVES!!!

I havent tried this app yet,but your FB vids & Reports have kept us dry!! & on our toes!!

Great app but….

The information in this app is absolutely great! However, one could die waiting for the information to load. And, no, it’s not my connection….other weather apps load in a few seconds; TSC loads in minutes. Sometimes, minutes count in severe weather situations.

Good app, but one i

I am very upset with your app. Under location services there are only two options, never, and while using. The always feature isn’t there even though I feel it should be all the time. And it still thinks I live in Bryan, which is wrong, and I live on Highway 30 in College Station. Texas. Also, another problem I have with your app, is y’all are barely sending out push notifications. I think y’all need to send them out all the time. Could y’all please fix this? And please respond back immediately

Great for The Layperson

Hello, Great app with easy to interpret radar for the layperson! Best, -Fellow Texan

Sometime hero’s don’t wear capes

Sometime they’re bald. Thank you for a great update to the app. My first impression is NO ADDS.

Recent update

The update to the interface is great. New colors and forecasts. However this apps “zoom” radar and the way it showed weather warning and watches along with direction of the stronger cells was the reason I used this app (Tornado Alley) My only request would be to move the path for the zoom map closer to the front and not at the end of the menu, otherwise - awesome job. When a weather app assists in the safety of my family, this is the one!

Thank you

This update will make it much easier to track and monitor severe weather in West Texas. Thanks for all the good work that you’ll do.

Best radar/storm/weather app in Texas!!

Thanks for keeping us informed and updated, B I C and staff members!! Appreciate all you do for us Texans💕 Love the humorous quips during the blogs! May Almighty God bless ya’ll and keep you safe!

Love the app but don’t pay to remove ads.

Paid to remove ads but they keep coming. Cancelled the subscription but no refund for the 11 unused months.

Impossible to pay you

I’d love to pay you 10 bucks a month. There’s no place to subscribe in your app. ———— I’m removing the app. I’d happily pay for no ads but can’t find a way to do that. Love you guys but really, the app is unpleasant.

Radar

I live in Lubbock, but when I click on the radar it defaults to Atlanta Georgia and I have to drag the radar to West Texas. Is there a geo location button I’m not seeing on the radar screen? Also, most days the radar will not load, even on Wi-Fi.

Updates?

Any updates soon? iOS26 has been out and everyone else is getting with the program. It’s obvious you’re using AccuWeather and it has been definitely updated. ???

Used to be clumsy but useful. Now it’s just another radar app

Before the recent update the app was able to show clouds, rain, temperature, wind direction, spinners and hail on a single app, which made the app to stand out. Now it’s just another radar app on the market. You get the same data with the built in Weather app.

Paid the subscription. Ads still pop up

This app has many great weather features and info. It is one of the better weather apps. I paid the subscription to have the ads removed and they are still there. This the 2 stars. Once they can figure this out I will change my rating to 5 stars. Gary S
