TextGrabber scan and translate App Reviews

This app comes in handy when I need to lift a quotation from a printed book to use in a document. I don’t have to key in the text letter by letter. Saves precious time!

I love this app I have been using it for several years now. It really save me a lot of time whenever I have to write something up. I highly recommend it.

It’s pretty disappointing that if you want to use it as a simple text to speech app and just use it as a translator occasionally... you can’t. It will never just read the text in it’s original language. It will give you an error message that it must be translated into another language. I got this because I already read a lot and wanted to give myself a break. But alas, it won’t read English to English, etc.

I love how easy this app makes it to have text that I would need to type in and instead it types it for me! Very easy go use and it’s my go to for capturing text. Thanks for making my copying and pasting life easier.

Would be helpful if after taking a screenshot and sending straight from that screen to textgrabber didn’t require a tap on the photos album from within textgrabber to show up.

TextGrabber is amazing. I can aim it at a page and capture the text instantly with near perfect OCR. I can then send the text in a message to share the document or keep it for my use in writing.

Screenshot, crop, send to share sheet is broken again. Image doesn’t show up in textgrabber, have to go to photos app first. Please fix?

I have been using this app for a couple of years now and really appreciate how it works saving me from having to rewrite information from one medium to another.

It works for me and saves so much time.

Love it, but sometimes hard to “go back” or navigate.

It has trouble with pages in books that aren’t perfectly flat.

Photos of paper books I am reading to quote in correspondence or add to a list is easier with this app.

When I have my Spanish class I always have to type in the Spanish but with this app I can save a lot of time with just a picture

I am an author and use this app to make text from photos - perfect.

Simply find a recipe, click a pic, brew at home (using Text Grabber recipe), get drunk and roll over on your old lady to fall asleep! Text Grabber is perfect!

Cannot translate Burmese language in to Chinese

I have been using this app on and off for years now. Always delivers amazing results. Seriously considering updating to the full version.

Easy and effective. If you guys added BENGALI language at offline version I would give you 5stars.

I use this app almost every single day to extract text from screen shot. I need to complain that the discount offer I saw on screen can not come through every time I clicked on.

One click and your photo becomes an editable text that could be transfered to Twitter or so. Great little beast.
