Most adventure games I’m totally lost but this one I was able to mostly get through without spoilers. Needed a few. The story was a bit low calorie but the excellent art made up for it.

Loved every minute of this game as a puzzler. Please make more!

But the loading screens in the 3 islands and the church area are SO ANNOYING (get stuck on a puzzle and spend 4 mins switching between islands then realizing you hit the lever but didn’t change the island so you gotta sit through it again.) it was at least nice pixel art loading screens but still got dull after the first 7 or so times. Otherwise absolutely beautiful.

Every time you get to act four, what happens is I try to get back to the lower level seven, but it doesn’t work. I even tried resetting the game and it still didn’t work. Hopefully, you could fix this bug.

Love the retro feel. Sound effect and music is nicely done. Puzzles are diverse and not boring. Not too difficult that it gets frustrating. The twist and the character swap is great! Wish there’s more! Maybe a whole other game of playing as the Alien (the local)? Sequel? Prequel!!

This pretty much hit all the spots of a retro point and click adventure game. I enjoyed it and the story was good. Now I want a sequel or a prequel.

For those of you who grew up loving the Nancy drew games will love this. This game is the classic puzzle solving point and click and I LOVE IT. Not only is it super creative but the main character is a woman of color which makes me super happy cause that is pretty rare. I am desperately looking for another game like this just because I enjoyed it so much!! Totally worth $5.99.
