45 Positive User Reviews for The ESO App
The app isn’t compatible with iPhones 14 or 15, the screen cuts off important info which limits the app’s usefulness. Otherwise great
Absolutely fantastic app for tracking everything! Only downside is that it’s not updated for the newest chapter locations.
I’ve been using this app for years and rely on it constantly for locating surveys, maps, etc. I highly recommend especially is you’re a new player. I’ve never had any issues with it.
I’m just curious if there’s going to be an update for this app since ESO released the Gold Road Area.
EDIT: I’ve been patiently waiting for an update but we are now two chapters behind. I will sadly have to cancel my subscription. I adore this app. Super helpful but doesn’t seem to have updated in forever. Doesn’t have the last chapter or anything after. I would rate this a five but I’m not sure if it’s dead at this point.
This app was great for us console players, and I love app where I can make stuff off as I earn it. Some of the lore books locations were off a little, and had crashes here and there. Beyond these issues it was a great app. But now it’s been dead for over 2 major expansions. It’s sad to see and I’d happily resubscribe to premium if we got updates again. Otherwise it’s good up to dead lands.
This app is incredible but outdated. I previously gave it 5 stars, downgraded to 3 b/c it doesn’t include 2 whole DLC zones. Some of the treasure/resource map directions are so vague they’re more confusing than useful. Would be nice to have someone verify the accuracy before posting it on the actual app. Maps are clear and easy to read. Icons are accurately placed. Would just like an updated version.
Seriously the dlc has been out for a couple of weeks now.
Love the app and it’s very helpful but could you add necrom?
Certain links state waiting on new CP system to drop before looking at sets. Unsatisfactory. Devs need to leave link intact until it happens. Prep for new one with theoretical possibilities.
Maybe I’m just dumb but just know that this app doesn’t link to your characters in the game. All the data of your progress in the game has to be manually entered by YOU. A “pro account” just lets you migrate the character info from one device to another. You’d think that would just happen automatically since it’s from the same cloud account but it doesn’t. I have a bit of buyer’s remorse but it’s due to my own ignorance. Now you know though.
I hope the dev updates the app. It’s been a while and now outdated for the newest chapter.
I started using this app when I first started playing ESO over 6 years ago - SO GLAD ITS BACK UP AND RUNNING! Adventuring isnt the same without my app ❤️
Been using this app since it’s beginning. Update would be appreciated.
The app helped me alot and i have been using it for a very long time now. There are few things that i wish they would be added it even make it much better such as crafting surveys locations in each zone and treasure maps!
This app is normally a great app and the best of its kind available. Extra useful when keeping track of Motifs for master writs and finding great fishing spots. The resent update adding the high isle map has caused some issues with the list view for some sections including motifs. Pretty much causes the app to crash whenever you open a drop down. Please please fix this asap it’s making some aspects of the app unusable.
I use this app for Xbox and pc, it’s incredibly useful! I do have a problem though, I can tell there are more DLC zones below where I can see in the list. The last ones fully visible is Gold Coast. Could you look into this please? Thank you for all your work!
Honestly confused by the negative reviews. While I’m sure a lot of the reviews are outdated by now; the app seems to be pretty well up to date at the time of writing this. The map alone makes this such a worthwhile app. Literally best $2 I spent on this game so far.
Very helpful if you play eso, it’s fairly updated too
The app is really nice, very helpful. Blackwood seems to have Wayshrines and a few other things missing but otherwise I’m really enjoying this app. Developer: Please update the maps with new content!
Needs more work and functionality. Doesn’t offer the basics other games apps offer.
Really needs an update. You now have three or so maps that are missing in your database. Also the abilities have changed so that also needs updating
The app instructions say to double tap a lorebooks info box to toggle it discovered, but nothing happens. The window just goes away but the icon doesn’t change color or anything. Am I doing it wrong?
They updated the app, so I have adjusted my rating to three stars.
I’ve used it since I started playing. The dev deserves much praise for all the work it takes to provide this resource!
New update coming out this week for Blackwood! Follow the App on twitter
I always keep this app open as I explore Tamriel, whether I’m following treasure maps or looking for the nearest Wayshrine.
Great app IF it gets updated. The ratings might be higher if it was kept up with especially being a paid app.
It’s missing quite a few locations for sky shards, it would be nice to have all of them eventually
I play ESO on console a lot and this app is always open when ever I play. The only thing that I would add to the map is points of interests but what they do have is incredible.
I use this app for treasure maps, lore books, sky shards, and especially surveys. Deserves 5 stars once updated with new Skyrim zones. An update is long overdue.
Great app! Love it! Best two bucks spent.
Loved the app, used it a lot as a completionist. With the current updates it seems a lot out of touch. Hope you can update soon and I’d love to update review. Thanks
Hoping you update for the new dlc soon and possibly a way to grey out locations you’ve already discovered
I love this app so much and use it all the time. Needs an update though with all the new areas and content. Great app though, I definitely recommend it!
It’s amazing but it needs the latest updates
This app would be amazing if things were updated and there was all the DLC areas in the list of maps, but there isn’t. Sometimes lore books aren’t where they say they are, as well. I’d give it a 5 star if it did.
Wonderful app love it but it’s a year out of date almost 2
It’s a great app, I’m just curious as to when greymoor is being added and updated?
Pretty good app for fairly out of date info. Most is still good, but there have been some changes and extra areas, etc. So, any plans on updating? Or, is this going to be dropped? There aren’t any good alternative apps, sadly.
I have used this app for a while but it’s missing zones and has been for a while now.
4 Negative User Reviews for The ESO App
Needs Necrom to give you an idea how outdated it is… I can’t believe I paid for an outdated app. Disappointing.
This app has been very helpful, but it has not been updated since High Isle—what gives? And I pay an annual sub? Don’t think so—
Update please
There is a new zone there are new trials. There are a lot of things that really should be updated on this. That could be very helpful. I’ve use this like religiously and I can’t turn to this app like I usually do.
