Still Amazing

I played through the interactive scenes in this app years ago and found the 2D -> 3D -> 4D rotation analogies really helped to give an intuitive sense for the shape of a tesseract. The attention to detail and production values are quite high, and I was very happy to find that it still works perfectly in 2025. I’d love to see more from this developer!

I thought I already got it.

Like you might be thinking about now. You might be right… I was not. The term Gestalt Switch refers to the often sudden and irreversible moment of epiphany, when the mind finally breaks thru the veil of murky ignorance from which we each strive to emerge, into the dazzling effulgence of nascent comprehension. Like BLAOW! And you grok it. Rarely are such moments handed to us in pill form. And rarely from literal higher dimensions. This app is the exception, so even if you think you get it, GET

An excellent birthday gift!

Wow, just wow :)

Mind Bending

I love this app so much. I may not use it every day, but I do use it often. It is so hard (potentially impossible even) to contemplate what a 4 dimensional object is and how it behaves. This app has been a godsend to me because it never fails to stimulate my brain in both curiosity and fascination. Highly recommend, and don’t just go through the process once. Repeat it, and marvel in it, and then after some time has passed repeat the process, and after a few times you will be blown away when you

Great app

It makes it so easy to visualize

Interactive! No glitches

Interactive! I’ve watched videos on tesseracts but to be able to move it yourself you are able to truly comprehend how it functions. The 3D element at the end brought me back to Magic Eye :)

Good Mechanics

Too unequivocal for my 5th dimensional mind

Danger: rapidly flashing lights

If you are sensitive to rapidly flashing lights do not watch the introduction. I’m surprised that a group of intelligent people built in a rapidly pulsing flashing light when it’s clear that’s a danger to people with types of epilepsy!

Cool! I have some suggestions.

This app is awesome! It would be really cool if after doing the steps you could just play with a tesseract. It would also be cool if there were other four dimensional shapes you could play with until your brain hurts.

What makes sense?

A line needs 3D to exist. Therefore the demos are useless in explaining what they are trying to explain as they always have to use a 3D line to make drawings. Wish someone would explain that……

Brilliant - Helped me with experiments

Ok, I realize this will probably be the strangest review you’ve ever received. For years I’ve been filming objects that we don’t yet understand - those UAPs the Navy pilots filmed and other anomalies. I filmed an object that was changing shape in unpredictable ways, that is until I got this app! Now I have a much better understanding of how a 4th or other-dimensional object might behave at the boundary with our 3rd dimension world. This is the best explanation I’ve come across and is well wor

I’m a Physicist and I love this

Accurate-smart-imaginative!

Tesseract

The best , most thorough exposition of the forth dimension that I have ever seen!

I want to interactively unfold a tesseract

How do you peel off its volumes the same way one would the surface area of a regular 3-space cube?
