I very much look forward to The Free Press in my ‘In Box’. Thoughtful articles with a different view, not crazy, weird or obtuse but something that requires some thinking and pondering. Arthur Brooks’ articles are some of the best.

These journalists are keeping me sane. I’m so glad there’s a place for adults to write about the news.

This is a must-read news source for all intellectuals and those seeking to steer clear of mainstream media. Bari Weiss has put together a team where it isn’t about tribal warfare and partisanship, but rather individualism and unity. Thought provoking, deep, interesting, wide ranging, and so much more. Really glad I subscribed :)

What I appreciate most is the range of voices. I don’t always agree with every piece, but I always feel challenged, informed, and treated like an adult. The writing is sharp, the subjects are timely, and the editorial judgment is excellent. It feels like a publication built for people who still believe in open inquiry, moral seriousness, and good prose. Highly recommended for anyone tired of stale narratives and looking for journalism with courage, wit, and real intellectual independence.

I am old school. I miss holding newspapers. But I do subscribe to several plus some magazines. The best writing is found at the FreePress. I discovered Bari years ago on Bill Maher’s show. I found her insightful yet not full of herself. I then followed her writing where I could find it. Now to the dessert. I look forward to TGIF every week. Nellie’s writing style is right up my alley. You just want to find her and have a drink and laugh after reading it. I bet the two of them are a rip. Keep up

My favorite column in The Free Press is TGIF. Funny and smart and self aware, something missing from many narcissistic columnists who play to one extreme or the other. The entire publication is high quality and inhabits that very rare place in our society today—a well-educated, well informed middle, willing to stand up and call out the ludicrous and hypocritical of MAGA and Progressives alike. If you are in that common sense middle, read this and maybe you will have the courage to speak up

The only name in media I can trust to give me the unvarnished truth about what’s really happening. Plus Nellie Bowles TGIF column is the smartest weekly read.

The title of this review says it all succinctly. A thoroughly researched and intelligent assessment of ‘Russiagate’ and the culprits involved. Together with the history of Durham’s and Horowitz’s investigations this is what investigative journalism should be like.

I love that we finally have a TFP app! It works great, I signed in without any issue on both my iPad and my iPhone. Setup notifications now I wanted to and it worked perfectly. Really no complaints, awesome app !

I’m an independent thinker, voter, and in my actions; and this is my kind of content - both this site and the Honestly pod. I don’t feel like I’m being manipulated or sold an agenda. I used to say I read the NYT and the WSJ and take the average, how I just need to read TFP. Thank you Bari for having the courage and drive to make this happen.

Great app, really like the layout and look

I already knew I would like the content, I was pleasantly surprised by how well the app works. I recently flew from Nashville to DC. I opened the app as we were taxing before we took off, in order to refresh with the latest articles that dropped. I was curious how many articles would open up once we got airborne. Not only did the latest headline open flawlessly, but so did articles I opened a few days back and didn’t get to finish. They even opened to the same point in the article. I was even
