I liked this game but not as well as I've liked other Mediacity games. I got really stuck on a two occasions and the hints given didn't apply to where I was at in the game. Sometimes the hints showed what I had already done or provided hints for where I had not even gone. I was able to see a hint in the app preview video and got the other by going in and out of hints many times until I found the hint that applied to what I needed. The developers of this game and the others are awesome. I like how the city is spread out and it is challenging because there are lot of places you will have to revisit to solve or find clues. I have played all the games made by this company and I look forward to more 👍🏻

There is a bug where entering the keyword into the typewriter doesn't work. There is no audible confirmation that it was solved (like a ding like the other puzzles) and the table does not open up and nothing else in the room changes. Not too many Old West-themed PNC's out there so I'm being generous with the rating here, but very little in the way of narrative urgency. Puzzles are run-of-the-mill, though I was motivated to learn how an abacus really works (of course, I still didn't get its implementation here). So I’ve gone through most of the game, but The typewriter puzzle doesn’t seem to work. I typed in the correct code, but there is no ding to indicate the puzzle was solved, nor did the table open.

There is no key to be found in the hotel. Cannot proceed any further without this key.

I typically have no problems working thru games of this type, and I certainly like a good challenge, but this was difficult to the point of completely boring. I'll definitely check back for more Media City games in the future, but I've given up on this one.

Mosey on past this tedious flop. The “puzzles” are nonsensically irritating as you try to figure out what the hell the developers were thinking; no rhyme or reason to any of it- just try to “figure it out”. You’ll know what I mean when you get to the briefcase “clue” which incidentally is where I was forced to stop; the numbers in the clue do not open the briefcase, not to mention the atrocious bug that prevents you from swiping the numbers properly. Some of the puzzles have absolutely no logic. The Inn moon-sun-moon left, the rates board right, abacus clues? No sense whatsoever. Necessary to skip the puzzle. The help system tells you to “take the (object) from (location)…” in soooo many cases, either that’s the wrong place for that object, or taking said object requires solving a puzzle, which the help system entirely omits, and there’s no hints for that puzzle. All in all, it’s their worst game.
