The Queen's Gambit Chess App Reviews

The app consistently has trouble connecting to the server, and there is zero support from the developer. I really like the game, but not being able to use the online features is very frustrating.

The tutorial auto advances which is infuriating when you are trying to read. I dont think it lets you pick 2d boards and some are difficult to process.

I think the game is great overall, but many of the teaching methods require one to do something in a certain amount of moves, like the mate in 2...but if one can mate in 1...why make it seem as if that way is incorrect, instead of showing there's more than one way to do something. I have photos of the specific ones demonstrating what I mean, but other than that, I enjoy the game for the most part thus far.

Fun game, I kinda wish that the board was a little bigger though

I like the concept but I ended up deleting because I found it hard to visually discern pieces and the controls were clunky. Difficult even to just select the piece you want to move. This was on an iphone, though. It would probably work better on an iPad with more screen to work with.
