Absolute Banger

It would be a ten if this game actually let you customize how you navigate. The way you move through the world is really awkward and it makes the game not fun to play.

I would have rated it higher if it weren’t for the controls being horrible, I have to play this game with a controller otherwise I wouldn’t play it at all. It’s an okay overall experience, though.

It’s absolutely worth the buy and if you love classic rpg adventure gamesthis is the definitely for you. I love that you can have animal characters that make little animal sounds when you attack or roll. I’ve done very little else besides play this game for the past 5 days.

I refuse to go above 3 stars until it’s added. An invisible floating thumbstick, with the diameter of the singularity of a grain of sand shrunk to a black hole, is atrocious. That being the only control option should be grounds for termination of somebody

Why do I gotta pay for the game but y’all don’t offer joy stick controls, I feel like I walking in ice the whole time can’t even play.

I just started playing this game and I’m already loving it. I really want to give it a 5 star rating The only thing that is preventing me from doing that is the controls. I am finding it extremely difficult to control my character and choose my weapon. The game should be more keyboard friendly especially for people that have an iPad with a keyboard attachment. I use my keyboard alot and it would be great if you guys could add some sort of keyboard control option

I love the style, I love the potential. I have this on Switch, but I thought it would be nice in the go. But same as on Android, the virtual joystick acts more like a d pad than a joystick. It feels awkward. It makes your character way too twitchy. I don’t like that.

This game is fantastic! One issue is the control stick is tough to use. The slightest quiver of your thumb sends our hero in a different direction. A floating stick/dpad would solve this problem. Any chance this change could be implemented?

Opened the game today and my save was just gone.

I like a lot of Devolver games but the controls are awful with this one.

Hello, The game is very fun, but I have upgraded to the iPhone 12 mini and the game no longer fits the screen properly. Hoping an update is incoming!

Honestly one of the best games out there. Nough’ said.

...only suggestion would be iCloud save file syncing. I’d love to be able to switch back and forth between iPad and phone

Fun gameplay. It is enjoyable. Excellent quirky chiptune like music. Horrid on-screen controllers. Would have been three star for that. But thankfully supports controllers and is played flawlessly with a controller.

So first the game was freezing every time I entered the second cave. during mid Boss fight it would freeze. I re downloaded the game and now my entire save file is gone. Please fix

Please fix the way the directional pad works feels a bit wonky

The game is really fantastic, but it’s not worth playing without a controller. The touch dpad is extraordinarily bad.

The dungeons consists of one, two or three rooms... yeah. It is very cute but has almost no story and no challenge. Very boring after half an hour. Could be fun if it had any substance to it.

I really enjoy the game but when I don’t use the controller support the controls are all wonky and it’s difficult to move around please fix the controls thank you

Have to agree with everyone else here and say this game is really great. The controls make me want to eat my own face, yeah, but great game besides that.

I was liking the game so far (played maybe 2 hours total) and when I went to open it just now, my saved game was not available. This is infuriating. I’d like to play it again, but I’m not willing to do so until this bug is fixed.

This game has a ton of style and definitely evokes the feeling of old school Zelda. Game play is fun, but the movement controls are horrible. Please fix the analog movement!

I think most people’s gripe with this otherwise wonderful game is the really terrible controls. Unless it’s intentional, the controls are terrible and cause me to lose too often. Need an update. Once update, my review will be 5 stars

The animations, the gameplay, and the art style all fantastic

The graphics are good, the gameplay is good but moving around in the game is kind of weird and clunky

This game is so fun and very creative with everything in the game. It brings me back to playing legend of Zelda. There are several glitches in the game yet and am hoping for an update to fix these bugs

I love this game, but I want to play this game on controller. I connect my ps4 controller, but I couldn’t control it. Does it has to be a specific kind? if not, can you please add ps4 controllers on.

Game was pretty fun until the ridiculous golf club was introduced - turned to more frustration than fun after that. Don’t waste your $2, go buy some cigarettes instead.

No controller support and bad touch screen controls. Trying to change directions is weird an in accurate. There is no onscreen directional pad so you can’t key bind to a controller.

But the touch controls are so bad I can’t stand it. Also, way too much dialogue before I’ve even gotten a chance to explore a little and get into my first fight.

It’s a good game and I enjoy it but it crashed and deleted my entire save file
