45 Positive User Reviews for The Wonder Weeks

It helped us so much

It definitely helped me with my anxiety. You’d do everything you needed to do but as I read the science behind it, it calms me down and assures me that it’s just part of her development and not necessarily something I’m doing wrong

Love it!

Super helpful parenting app that helps us not feel so lost! Would highly recommend to parents, either first time or last time kiddo, it’s helpful for so many stages and all ages!

Just amazing

I’ve used this for four kids. It’s so helpful to have peace of mind when you feel like something is going on with your kiddo and you can read the why behind it. It closes the education gap and allows for you to remove any animosity toward your child to understand their reasoning behind the emotions. I recommend this to everyone!

Great app for new parents

So useful and eased my mind! Helped us to know when the baby’s change in behavior was expected so we didn’t worry and were prepared to respond to him accordingly

Doesn’t work across all devices

Can’t share my log in with husband, or log into my phone and iPad at the same time. I’m not the only one who needs to know development of little one.

TWW❤️

I absolutely love this app to refer to! It’s nice knowing what my baby is going through so that I can show up for him exactly how he needs and to understand why he’s having a hard time ❤️

Helps To Mentally Prepare

I like to know what to expect. Helps me get my head right before the fussy phase. My LO seems to be slightly ahead of what the app suggests so it would be nice to be able to start the week before the suggested date rather than waiting so things could be more accurate.

Really useful

It gives me some peace of mind and I don’t have to guess

Very helpful and accurate! 💫

This app is super helpful. I found it to be very accurate with all four of my babies. It’s comforting to understand what they’re going through and helps you feel more prepared for each stage.

Leap 5

Horrible experience. She won’t nap for longer than 30 minutes even if held. She wakes up several times at night and will stay awake for hours no matter what we do - rock her, lullaby, feed. We have a sleep routine with white noise and blackout curtains which was great up until 6.5 months. Ever aince, everything has gone out the window

So helpful!

We used wonder weeks with my little boy and now 3 years later with my little girl. It helps so much to understand why our little ones may be fussy and to know that it will pass and with that comes lots of new skills! The app is also easy to use. Thank you Wonder weeks!

Infallible

No app is more accurate. It really brings peace of mind whenever my children are acting out. It never fails that they’re on a leap! I love learning about their experience as they develop and what I can play with them at each stage.

Not working

I can’t rate this app, I paid to use it and had setup my email , was sent a code and attempted to use it & it didn’t work… I then tried to hit verify and yet that still didn’t work. Now I have to wait 3 days to hear back from support …

great !!!

this app helped me understand my daughters different phases so much! it also helped me not get down on myself if she was acting out of sorts because most of the time she was just acting out in the fussy phase and it was all normal!

Good

So far I have been enjoying using this app

Inflexible but informative

There’s no flexibility as to when you, as a parent, notice the leap signals before the set-in-stone date that’s provided. It even says a week one way or the other off is possible, but it won’t let you adjust or change when the leap actually starts. That part is frustrating. Everything else is informative and thorough.

Helpful Tool for First Time Parents

This app is super helpful in helping us plan for how to best engage with our child and predict what to expect. I don’t think the timing is the most accurate in terms of when our baby’s phases start and stop, the app is off by a few days and sometimes a week, but otherwise it’s great. I love having activities ready for me so I don’t have to overthink what I can do with my baby to help her develop. It’s a great tool to help a first time parent have a general idea of what to expect

Wonder weeks has helped my journey as a first time mom!

I love the wonder weeks app! It has helped me to understand my baby at a deeper level and to help him reach his milestones with the games it suggests!

Too expensive

So far I’m not really seeing much benefit to what I paid for. Wish I could get my money back. Just doesn’t seem worth it. It is good information to have but not sure what it’s telling me that articles online wouldn’t tell me for free.

The village comes home

It’s amazing and spot on. It has helped us take some of the mystery out of child rearing and behavior in this modern age. It’s like the village or close knit community of our not too distant past where there was always someone older and wider who knew what to expect.

Love this app

We have a two month old and This was spot on. We had a couple days of the fussy phase and then he developed over night it felt like. He was making bubbles, talking away, sleeping longer it was crazy!!

real time relief

wow wow wow // i haven’t really had a chance to explore this app til 11months bc my baby is experiencing the worst sleep regression yet. but reading up on what’s going on brought me 100% relief in moments where i thought something was severely wrong. it’s wild how much research+ detailed advice this app offers. just joined the community forums too and reading about other moms going through exact same things is just wild yet highly validating/supportive

Beautiful

Wonderful app, helps us understand our baby’s behavior and exercise greater love and patience

Wonder app

The app is great for developmental milestones! Personally, my baby has not experienced the fussy phase in its entirety. But it does occur for a few days in that time frame, just not the entire length. So don’t be alarmed when you see that.

Very cool & accurate

The app is pretty spot on with our daughters growth &moods. I love the PDF growth chart - you upload your pics with her growth and can buy a page for a buck. It’s cool. I’m really enjoying this app.

12 month old baby boy

My baby boy has days when he is very busy moving things, grabbing everything, runny around actually that’s everyday … but he’s also been very clingy lately.

Very insightful

Great app for tracking skills, knowing other skills to watch for and/ or work on. Definitely right on track for the crabby weeks. Haha.

Pretty good

Some things within the leaps are decently accurate - some are way off - like weeks or months off. It’s fun to learn what their brains are doing but don’t take it for bible!

What this leap has been. Leap 4

It has been a period of sleep regression, more alertness in the day. Also we have seen more attentiveness to faces and recognizing the routines of the day.(feeding time, morning routine)

My favorite

Love the app so much. Using it for the second time now with our new and last baby. Love seeing what’s coming up and where he “should” be in development. I love knowing why he’s fussy because obviously he can’t tell me.

#1 download for all parents

I gained so much guidance that I didn’t realize I was missing out on with my 1st kid until 4 months of parenting blindly. I have used this app faithfully since, have parented 2 additional children more confidently, and share this app with every new mom I meet.

My most used app for babies

I love the app. Gives me ideas of age appropriate games and activities to do with my baby. And the fussy times are spot on for all 4 of my children. Helps give a reason for the crying when it’s not the baby’s default mode. Most valuable parents app hands down.

Loved it a few months ago

Used to really like it and get a lot out of it but ever since it was updated a few months ago I can not follow it and have basically given up on it. So frustrating.

Great app for parents

I love it! I really enjoy the suggested activities that they have for each leap. It gives me ideas for playtime!

We love it!

My husband and I really love this app! We had it with our first son who is now 3, and it was great then. It’s even better now with all the new info they provide! Seems to always be spot on with what to expect and gives great ideas on how to help your little one through their leap!

Wonderful!

Great - so helpful. Used it with my first born and now my second born. It’s so accurate and really helps me understand the leaps; what to expect as well as how to support my children

Helpful!

My first child was fussy often and once I found the wonder weeks book. It became my bible and helped me to understand the why behind everything. It helped me to understand where my child was developmentally and gave me good ideas on what to do with my child. My second child is the polar opposite and is always happy so now I use the app because I like a reminder of where he is at developmentally, but I don’t need to read all the details as extensively as I needed to with my first. The book had a

Wonder Weeks

I love this app! I do find it very helpful because as a new mom, I wasn’t sure why my baby was acting certain ways one day and completely opposite the next. I understand they are growing and developing, but these leaps help you understand it all in depth! The only thing I have started noticing is my child is always about a week ahead of what the Wonder Weeks app says. Overall, it’s incredible!

LOVVVEE

I LOVE this app!! It is informative, HELPFUL, and I love the diary entries I can make….it’s been a special app, carrying me through year one with my son. The leap information was/is always useful and taught me so much!!

Helps you understand what your baby might be going through

Take this app like a grain of salt. Every baby is different and develops at different rates. Having signals or not having signals doesn’t mean good or bad. Developing skills at the time of the leap or not is neither good or bad. This is a tool to help you understand your baby and what they might be going through at different stages. Understanding your baby can help you be a better parent and help your baby be more secure.

Love this app

Always seem to be spot on with the leap’s & definitely prepares me for when one is coming.

Good

The app is good and I feel like it’s helped predict fussy times for the baby although that could just be confirmation bias… I like it though

3 Negative User Reviews for The Wonder Weeks

Meh

This has been completely off for us. She’s always fussy when it says she should be in skills and often is good during the fussy time. I don’t think it tracks for everyone.

Not worth the money

I have not found this app to be very accurate or helpful unfortunately. I have gotten back on multiple times to try it again since I paid for it. But it has not been worth the money. I cannot find how my daughter fits into any of the developmental weeks— so unless she is some crazy anomaly…I don’t find it reliable. I hardly ever buy apps and unfortunately, this app has reminded me why I don’t. The only thing I have found helpful are some (not all) of the activities suggested to help your child d

Not worth $5.99 - consider CDC free app

I don’t recommend this app for $5.99. Haven’t really found the baby follows “leaps” schedule - baby is just fussy when he wants to be lol so not sure I buy the science of this (you can google if you want to see opinions on it). The developmental information is good, but I recommend checking out CDC Milestones if you’re looking for a free app with developmental stages. It’s similar content and actually more robust as far as video content, eg videos of what your baby should be doing (plus include
