Great app for traveling in Italy, finding restaurants and making bookings

The first time I registered, I was forced to register in order to make a registration. In France - since then, the program only speaks French to me and it it impossible to change the language. Also, constant errors when trying to make a booking. Also, some (?) restaurants bring “a special” menu when they see the reservation came from The Fork, no doubt with “special prices”. In the end, this program does not make me believe I really get a wonderful value. Still, it is a good idea and I use it

The whole experience was quality. The setting was fresh, clean and inviting. The service was just right. There when I wanted them and not hovering, they pay attention. The food was quality, local ingredients treated love and respect. I have eaten quite a bit in Italy and a lot in Florence. This will now be my go to spot and I love that is close to both the San Lorenzo Mercato and the Duomo. If I could have my Nonna back, that is where I'd take her.

Could not find my existing reservations

I love Yelp and live in the US. However, there are a lot of restaurants that are shut down that still show up in Yelp, so it’s unreliable. I asked Chat GPT what to use instead for an upcoming trip to Paris, and it recommended this app, and so far I love it. It’s a bit fancy for my taste (Michelin star restaurants scare me) but is proving very useful and easy to book reservations for free directly in the app.

Very easy to set preferences and make resos

I had so much trouble trying to make a reservation as they let you try to set a password on the reservation page, but it didn’t work. Got more sleep the next day and I went to the settings page and noticed the password is not there so I had to set it, but it does require setting it via the browser. Once that was done, i was able to make my reservation.

I love the simplicity and cohesiveness of the app.

Unusual offerings all fantastic. Loved the fried artichokes, carpaccio and fried pizza!!! Wonderful service! Great wine;))) everyone raved about their meals.

The Fork offered me 20% discount on my first booking, but never sent me the code , so I couldn’t apply the code to receive the discount

It’s not a user friendly App It doesn’t tell you what it is wrong when there’s no a reservation confirmation

Resulta muy útil para seleccionar la opción correcta y que se adapte a las necesidades y exigencias de cada uno. Permite ver la carta con los precios, el local y fotos de los platos. Además con ofertas en descuentos por reservar a través de la app. Genial!

I understand it’s a very busy time of the year, especially in Paris. However, I think it’s important to bring it to you guys attention, as overall your app is great. I was selecting dinner for tomorrow, for 3 people. I got several options that either had no availability for tomorrow, or that would only take reservations for one person or over six people. I was patient enough to keep looking till I found what I was looking for, but I am sure some other people would have given up. Hope this helps

New to app but find it ok so far. Unable to modify existing reservation - you have to cancel and rebook which is not advisable for reservations that are tough to book. Also sometimes hard to see when a restaurant isn’t included on the app vs just having no availability.

Excellent restaurant! They know their wines! Their food is exceptional! We asked for a recommendation on a local red wine. It was fabulous! We had duck that melted in your mouth! We tried 8 cheeses. That were explained! What a hidden gem!

We never used Fork.it before. We walked by a restaurant and looked it up on the website and they highly recommended the restaurant and even offered a discount! We had a wonderful dinner and saved some money. I will be using Fork.it again.

Loved TheFork chat with Daniela v! DRW57 Chatted with Daniela when I needed to change my reservation and she was able to do a test run for me to be sure the restaurant was able to seat 6 people before I canceled my existing reservation. On my confirmation email there was only a cancellation and not a modify choice.

I’m struggling to find translations of Menus - even though I speak 3 languages, I like to be able to move quickly. Also my email confirmations are in French sometimes? I would like to see more options in tourist destinations like these famous Italian cities

The Fork is easy to use, helps you find good places, helps you pay with a tap or two. I’m liking it.

Are use the Michelin guide for finding quality establishment. This app makes it so easy to confirm reservations. It illuminates the need for a reservation confirmation and saves so much time!

While in Italy, the Fork came in handy but at least 1/3 of the time, the restaurant did not note that I came and, after a couple of times when the restaurant forgot (or couldn’t be bothered), I was banned. No notice, the Fork just completely blamed me. When responding to notifications that I did not show up, I advised that I did — there is no option to provide them with proof (e.g. the receipt). They unilaterally cancelled my last two reservations. The Fork’s approach is as hostile as it is lazy

Difficult to see all necessary parts of the Screen and navigate around. Super frustrating
