This honestly is I would say the best music theory app out there I do with that between this app “Theory” and “Tenuto” that is would be more helpful in memorizing things like maybe implementing something for practice. Also I kinda wish “Theory” had a thing in the scales section to learn about pentatonic scales and blues scales. Also to learn to apply concert pitch to different instruments. Thanks I hope you guys are improving things also honestly this app is extremely good you should honestly

There is a practice mode that is on the website version. It seems like the app is a lackluster version of the website. For a more expensive alternative, I would expect either the practice exercises or other practice features to be implemented. A great offline version for the lessons but not much else. The website offers the same, comprehensive lessons as well as activities/ games to help solidify and check in on your learning for free. It has the most user friendly diagrams and lessons that

Musictheory.net is an excellent free resource for teachers and students. Being technologically challenged, I like the simplicity of it. The site accomplishes its purpose without frills. Though it might not be as exciting as an online game, it seems to challenge students appropriately. It can be used to teach a new concept or review old concepts, as an assessment tool, and for students to practice. Student can easily go online and practice, put their knowledge to the test, or complete an assignme

None of the directional arrows work, nor any other guidance symbols. Also, text panels are cut off at the bottom and cannot be resized. The course does not begin at the beginning, and I can’t go back to see what I missed, though having some theory already, it’s mostly review at this point. But if you’re going to charge ANYTHING, make sure what you’re charging for actually works.

I have to say. I appreciate apps like this that stand the time with needing much updating. This app has been instrumental in learning music theory and what’s great is you can use it as a reference as well as a walkthrough. Love this app. Thanks to the developers

This app would work as referenced to those who are thoroughly trained in music theory NOTFOR LEARNING IT

Great for brushing up on beginning theory lessons. Concepts are well explained and illustrated.

Very easy to use to understand music theory. Interactive as well. One of the most advanced apps I've seen on music theory.

As a total beginner this app makes learning music theory easy and fun. I never thought I would grasp music theory this easily. If you're looking for an enjoyable way to learn music theory this app is it. I highly recommend this app.

Audio DOES work. Only available on some slides. Developer can stop negative reviews by making it more clear that audio isn't available on all slides. (Old Review: Installed on 6+. Audio grayed out. What's the point if there's no audio?)

Gonna be honest this app, in addition to the website, taught me all the music theory I know and it was made so simple and easy. Thank you for making it easy for beginner musicians to learn this. I hope you guys add more stuff soon though.

Never knew how easy it was to learn until I got this app. Everything is put plain as day in front of you and everything is there for you if you need to return and relearn anything. Easy and quick!!! Love this app! Music made easy!

Clear and precise music theory explanations. Music Theory has always confused me, but this app's visual design/animation is very helpful along with the material presented. Buy this $3 dollar app! No need to pay for tons of theory books.

I haven’t gotten too much into the app, but after a week into having it - it seems pretty epic. I am rusty and brushing up on music theory.

Literally all that one needs in a very comprehensive package. Only gripe is that it doesn’t allow display of bass clef only treble clef.

The Music Theory website directed me to this app as one of the things for practicing, but there’s nothing for practicing notes, keys, etc. on the app - only explanations. I’m a bit disappointed in it.

I am majoring in music ed at my college and this app is so helpful especially that my note taking is horrible. This app is super helpful and highly recommend it for those taking theory in college

Great app but please add more audio examples. For instance, I am trying to learn more about compound meters or odd meters and there are NO audio examples !! Frankly I am a little annoyed coz that’s why I bought it. Otherwise it’s a nice app.

This is a great way to learn the fundamentals of music theory. I use its companion app Tenuto to practice what I learn. Very highly recommended.

It’s a wonderful app honestly and truly and helpful as a refresher tool for my Praxis 2 exam coming up. The only problem is I was looking for some examples rather than explanations like they have on the website.

This app came in handy a lot in my Music Theory class and was well worth the money for me.

I love this app. It is simple in its format but highly effective in conveying this not-so-easy-to-grasp material. It is better than all the music theory books I have read to date! What a nice contribution.

The app is working again, all I needed was to delete it and put it back in my phone. Works perfectly.
