Things That Go Together App Reviews

Love the idea of this app. Bravo to developers! Love that you can control how many tiles/choices presented at one time. However, my visually impaired children and those with short attention spans and impulsivity have difficulty perceiving what many of the objects are. Would love better contrast between working surface and the tiles. The white paper on the white tile is not even seen. Also wish one could enlarge the size of the tiles without losing quality of the pictures.

Tap on a picture to identify it if the child is unsure or unfamiliar with the picture. A clear pleasant voice is used in all instances encouraging the child at every point. Lots of bright attractive photos with interesting and functional themes. I recommend the app for use in a classroom, with one on one, or in a home setting.

This application is great. I liked the realistic pictures but wish they were a little larger for students with visual impairments.

Just finished the Peabody test with my non speaking kids, this is a great addition to see if they understand matching concepts . They love to hear the name of the picture out loud. Excellent.

Graphics are great! I got the application for my 5 year old but after trying it myself it might be a low level app for my daughter. Thought application would be more in line for her age group!

My grand babies 2 and 3 love this...my older one needs less help!! My two year old grand baby loves to clap when she hears the positive comments!

I felt there was a lot of pictures did not recognize. Anxious to work with her more

This app is fun and easy to use. I like that I can add my own items. I can use it in many ways with my students.

Very clear presentation. Great pictures. Many of my children in language therapy will benefit from this basic presentation.

This app is very engaging and requires close concentration to recognize relationships. I cannot wait to show this to my son. What I especially like is the varying levels of difficulty. A very valuable app. Eaff1963

For children who need to practice connecting objects to usage, this is a great alternative, because it is interactive! Great job!

I can't wait to use this app at school but it will also be put in my granddaughter's folder.. She always asks me for something new in her folder :-)

Settings are very easy to navigate and customize. Colorful and fun to use.

This app is very good for those that have language problems. The tiles say their names and make a sound when placed correctly. I would highly recommend this app for young children.

Seems a really good way to learn to associate objects but think some of the pics aren't clear enough (eg. key chain). Bit advanced for my 2 yr old at the min but will review again when she's older...she loves your other apps though!

Helpful supplement for teaching students who have difficulty with similarities and differences.

This will be a terrific app to use with my kindergarten students. I like that a voice says the name of each picture!

This is a great way of learning

I loaded content to for matching letter to sound and CVC word to picture. I can't wait until I add more kindergarten standard skills to this app. This is so much more exciting than flash cards!

The items get a little more difficult after each set of go togethers. My son loves the app & is always his first " go to" app. A great starting app for teaching categorization.

So glad I found Grasshopper Apps! Logic and spatial relationships are such a great thing to introduce to kids through iPhone apps! I also really like theGames: Sporty Mind Puzzles - a little trickier, really good!

Making links and associations is such an important cognitive skill! Its very nice to have another way to let students practice.

I love this app! Even better the students love it! It uses pictures they know and understand. It is nice to be able to put a student on this app and work with another student close by. I highly recommend this app!

Great App! It is well thought out and fun! It is easy to teach and to play!

Very useful app. I like it a lot, but would really like it even more if pages didn't advance automatically. I want time to discuss why they go together, so want to advance manually. Could this be an option?

My only complaint is that it automatically advances to the next page--as an SLP I want to encourage my students to verbally discuss "why" things go together.

This is a very well made, attractive and absorbing spin on matching apps. Highly recommend for 3-4 year olds.
