I thought at one point they were going to sunset this app — and I’m so glad they haven’t! It makes navigating and listening to episodes a better experience than with any other podcast. If only the Podcast app itself were half as nice as this!

This app is amazing. It’s the only thing that makes my days good. I’ve been going through every episode since it was called Your Radio Playhouse, and the app design is wonderful. 100% would recommend!

This year has been tough and thank god I am able to survive my loneliness by listening to TAL everyday during my daily walk. Please don’t don’t shut it down. Life will be so different without TAL app.

Please don’t get rid of this app :( I understand the archive is online, but this format has saved me on many a long plane ride. How will I download episodes now? I’m so, all-encompassingly sad.

I just wanted to say I love this app and have so enjoyed using it. I like favoriting episodes I’d like to listen to later and easily downloading episodes to listen to while traveling. I will really miss it. Thank you.

i bought the app because i thought maybe there would be the ability to queue episodes, but its the exact same thing as the website, which is free, so there’s no reason to pay for this. just go on the website

Amazing content that so many people are missing out on because of their refuse to let Spotify users stream content and still doesn’t work with iOS 13 native dark mode.

The app is frustrating to use. Constantly loses your place in a show, fails to play an episode, and other general bugs persist with no fixes in sight.

The app is butt. Don’t download it. Just listen online. It’s buggy, has errors every episode, and it doesn’t bookmark where you left off when it crashes.

I love This American Life! I’m struggling with this app. Every time I pause an episode, I need to completely close the app and reopen it for the episode to buffer again. Since I mostly listen when driving, this isn’t ideal.
