ThredUp: Online Thrift Store App Reviews

I love all black clothes and I find it extremely hard to see any details on the black clothing in their pictures. I wish they would get better lighting to fix that. Furthermore, when I put my sizes in, it often shows one size smaller and I can’t get it to stop. Leading me to accidentally buying a dress that’s just a little too tight for me. Otherwise I love shopping second hand and this app makes it very accessible.

I am a long time customer, a VIT. For me, visiting the website is a daily event. Yes, friends, I am a professional Retail Therapist and my relationship with ThredUp could be deemed toxic by some. Of course those idiots will never know the thrill of owning the finest garments purchased on a broken shoe string budget. That’s just fine. More for me! I absolutely love shopping from here! I shop here all the time and get great items! I have sold so many of my clothing to them and sadly only receive $15 for like 30 items that I sold. It’s not worth it to get $.15 of sale. I’m so sad that I sent away all my good clothing and could’ve sold them elsewhere.

I LOVE thredup and have used it loyally for a long time. But y’all have to get the measurements sorted. I tend to go off of them because sizing from brands varies, but what your filter pushes to me is not correct. A size 37 in denim is roughly a womens 20. It is NOT a 37” waist. Which is roughly a size 14. I saw a pair of jeans listed as my size, measurements showed it might be slightly larger. I ordered it and it was 4 sizes too small. You can find anything you want or need in thredup for a better price, and you’re helping the environment. It’s a win win. Such a fan!!

I love ThredUP, I use to thrift my local thrift stores but I can’t anymore due to health issues and most thrift stores don’t have any amenities to help if you have a disability and some are a hazard to move around in. ThredUP gave me my freedom to still enjoy the thrill of the hunt to find the pieces I love. I have been using this app for about two years now! If you love Thrifting, it’s definitely the most convenient way to thrift online! Extremely excellent prices! Very easy to sell your items and return items if you don’t like them! My items sell really well on thredUP as well!

I have been using the app since probably 2015 and I still am! The app is a little Overwhelming to navigate at first but once you ge the hang of it, it is easy!

I emailed James (CEO of ThredUP) about my issue and he emailed me back within a couple minutes. This demonstrates he really cares about his customers and he followed me up to customer service which resolved my issue.

This app is incredible its my favorite app to browse the deals are super easy to use and the shipping is so fast and accurate once its delivered i get an email immediately! The only thing i wish was better is the quality of the pictures and the mannequin they use. I wish i could see the details better bc I have received some items I wouldn't have bought if i saw that the fabric was one I didnt like. The descriptions only go so far into describing the item and not much is given on how some items

Cute clothes but the shipping price almost makes the thrifting part not worth it.

I've used this app a few times and I've been very happy with my orders. I've also sent some clothes back using the clean out bag as well. It's a good way to reduce waste. I also like the function where I can narrow down the search based on fabric material

I love the idea of ThreadUp and have used the service several times, but in recent orders I have noticed that the quality of clothes is misrepresented (eg, heavily worn items are still being posted as great or like new condition), while prices are rising and the loyalty program is discontinued. I no longer feel that this app provides a good value compared to thrifting alternatives.

99% of my closet is from Thread Up, but the recent changes in the app have made shopping on mobile awful. I am so bummed! The app freezes and crashes frequently, stops showing new items, and is a much less enjoyable shopping experience than the previous version. Really hope this can be fixed in future updates. Overall disappointing. :(

I’ve been doing this for quite a while, and I really haven’t been that happy. Initially I did pretty good but then after quite a while I realized that that’s the only way to go. And since I don’t have real expensive high clothes, I quit.

It’s better to just go to goodwill these prices on used merchandise are ridiculous. Definitely not a place for me they only have female and boy things.

They made more off my things than I did. I got maybe $10..00 from payouts & they banked!
