I recently upgraded phone, and am not able to restore account on new phone, what can I do?

I like this secure app. It has many features and the customer service dept. is very quick to respond and help. I recommend this for anyone needed in a truly secure messaging, texting, etc. app.

All around and amazing app well put together love the security and privacy and you guys really did your work on this one. I recommend it to all my friends, my family and as many people as I can possible it’s that good of an app. Also I’m working on a app, would you guys be willing to donate any amount helps. After completion everyone that helped me out, will definitely be rewarded generously.

Is it possible to have the live location shared for infinite time? It is an option interesting. I would love to see it on an update. Thanks

iPad - DELETE button is not working after “long hold” on the message & the options pop up. It works on iPhone. You have to “Select” & click the left circle to delete.

The app itself is great. I love it and haven’t had any issues. , but I’m wondering if down the line more privacy features would be added. For instance, a function to not allow screenshots or maybe possibly disappearing text set by the user? It would be nice to have these features implemented.

Can’t beat the quality and reliability and security of this app especially in todays world

It’s small footprint in storage - most awesome part. It’s foolproof and glitch-free. Sure odd as “per device” or “per user ID” until you realize why this modular approach is an advantage to focus your mind, and definitely more secure. Cannot beat price per Apple or Android. I use with 11 people almost daily. Never worry about leaks as traceable. So for 2 years don’t use the popular messengers at all unless must. (I am the head guy in the group). Con? Hard to get others to join who are not inside

I love great security! I love Threema’s commitment to a very secure experience! My only bummer is that here in the USA, I rarely run in to anyone that has heard of Threema and even fewer who use it. Most everyone I know of uses Apple Messages and are so committed to that service.

This app is awesome. Like seriously thank you to whoever made it I think I have been using it for two years. Good job to whoever made it.

I wish the desktop app didn’t require the iPhone to be open and in the Threema app just to use it. Major strain on my battery. Signal and Session don’t require that. Mac Desktop app also needs dark mode like yesterday. Update 2023/09/06: Thanks for the info about the beta. That addresses my issues, and I’ve updated my rating to 5 stars.

Re review here… I understand you need to update apps to keep them relevant. I’ve had this app for years, but I will say all these new updates are making it far more complicated and far harder to navigate than it needs to be. It also is taking far more time to load with every new update. So, In my opinion, which means nothing, I think it was better before all these latest updates.

I'm very happy with the threema app which I use to keep up with family members. My only disappointment is that I cannot join in on the group chats using an iPhone. Is there a projected date for adding capability for group chat with iPhone?

For just about anything I recommend this app to the fullest and was worth every penny. However I wish that when I made a group chat with friends I could choose who mod/admins the group-chat. Other than that perfect app

Message deletion for all parties as well as timed deletion options like signal. Also the desktop app is mostly useless because it requires your phone to be unlocked and the app open on the phone while using on your PC. Perhaps the devs can make some enhancements and make the app better.

Security, privacy, anonymity, what more could you want? The answer is more people using this app.

We need to be able to delete messages from all devices similar to the app session. I’ve been sending all my friends $5 to convince them to join this app, I know it’s not much but I’ve bought about 8 accounts for people and that’s my only major complaint and why I still prefer session. If you can fix this I will be using this exclusively as will many people following me to the app.

For added security I would recommend being unable to screenshot messages like Confide. I love Threema. Keep up the great work.

For example: you can’t listen to a voice message and type a reply while still listening. Because it opens a little window where it plays the voice message. This is not the case with the android version. Why is the ios version so annoying? Also, why don’t I get a notifications that a message wasn’t sent? Why do I have to leave the chat open until everything has sent? Which is also pretty annoying.

Here’s the thing: Auto delete might not be a 100% reliable (/ safe) feature, but not being able to delete messages is certainly 100% unsafe. Inform your users by a disclaimer and go on with it, not hide behind this silly pretense and cause negative reviews by people that either think they know better or are frustrated about messages that are forever saved on someone else’s phone. Just saw your app featured on The Terminal List, so much potential stopped short.

Other than not having gifs to send it’s overall a well designed app.

I really wish I could ❤️ a message. It’s important to me and my boyfriend.

Really needs more reactions options. The ability to “like” or HEART a message would be greatly appreciated. This feature is used by empaths on other platforms extensively. A thumbs up doesn’t cut it.

The last few updates have made it even better. Please add stickers though. It’s the only feature I and my family still want from WhatsApp. Thank you

It does have a better feel after the newest update. Please consider adding stickers, a call log outside the chat window, and making it more responsive and smooth (the new update accomplished that for sure!).

I love the app and the idea of the ID and no contact & email sync but it needs a few features. 1. Expiring photo option (view once or forever). 2. Messages time duration (1hr, 1 day, 1 week etc). Other than those, it’s all good.

It has everything you want and more. And it’s open source. This is the gold standard.

Everyone should buy this to get better privacy.

You should add “Delete For Everyone” feature, or make timing feature at leas.

I like threema because it is fundamentally secure and the model makes sense to me. I'm hoping for more features like being able to react with emojis instead of "agree/disagree". But other than that it's great

you should incorporate AI generated qr codes to every call and message for full anonimity👌✌️ i would pay 5 to 10 dollars if that was incorporated you could dominate britan,germany and china. maybe AI random generated IP address as well?

I love the app very much. Privacy rules. But audio and video calls are so difficult. Call drops again and again. Have been sending those anonymous reports every time the call drops but hasn’t been fixed yet. I hope the devs work on this asap.

Threema is the best app to send messages and Media (pics, videos, etc). The original sound for the notification is music for my ears... l love it! Pick Threema up! Sure you enjoy it.

Nearly perfect, but I hope they can include an option for disappearing messages in the near future, like signal does.
