An amazing game. Really glad this implementation exists. Does a great job of teaching the game. It’s a blast to play. Super smooth.
One of my all-time favorite games!
Vlaada is the GOAT.
I’ve tried to learn this game many times but the tutorial really helps to make it more manageable. Bravo!!,
One of the best implementations of a strategy board game you will ever find.
Very good digital version of the board game,Steam I bought the DLC after syncing the account,The mobile version doesn't need to be purchased.,It's really a conscientious manufacturer! The game is very interesting.,I personally feel like it's on par with Civilization 6!
Through the Ages is one of the best strategic card games out there, challenging and always forcing you to think on your feet. This is a terrific version of that game too, possibly the best board game app on iOS. There’s a lot of game here, and it’s not a casual design at all. But those who want to learn will find it rewarding, and this is a great way to learn.
This is my preferred way to play TTA. We will forego getting the board to the table and just play from our phones.
This really is the standard to which all boardgame apps should strive for.
If you enjoy Sid Meier’s Civilization and/or engine building board games you’ll likely love Through the Ages. Fun and challenging in so many ways this game will leave you begging for one more turn into the wee hours of the night. A+ 5/5 Well done.
Insanely wonderful app. Allows you to take back parts of your move step by step, so you can try things out before committing. Does all the heavy lifting when it comes to the fiddly stuff. Very cool sounds, too. I usually like the physical board games better than the app version, but this one’s the exception … I own the board game, but I only play the app version, because it’s perfect. Phenomenal job.
I think everyone already knows that this is the best boardgame adaption ever made.the tutorial is great and the game is so smooth.well done developers...!😍
I’ve now bought this game on three platforms and have felt good about paying for it every time. Brilliant digital implementation of the game. I have experienced very few bugs over my many hours playing, and they have added many features the community has requested.
BY FAR THE BEST GAME EVER! PERIOD. MUST BUY!!!
This game takes a few plays to understand the actions and a few more to get your civ developing in an effective way but it is worth it if you can get there!
Have never played the board game. But this is one of the best values for a game with a competitive AI (no cheating required). Get the expansion pack too. 10x replay ability of an already addictive and open ended style game.
Honestly one of the best board games I've ever played. I work in the industry and have played over 1,000 unique games. Genius design. Up there with Mage Knight and Gloomhaven!
I love the board game, don't get me wrong, but I always end up finishing a game and thinking "I wish I had done xyz better" and having to wait for another game night. This version scratches that itch to try new strategies with the quick games where the automated housekeeping helps a ton.
Why are the load times going to slow? This is a great game but getting to the online section does not always work. Are bug fixes done now?
An impeccable implementation of an amazing game. The standard by which all other board game adaptations should be judged.
best board game next to Agricola
It takes a bit to understand but it’s fun!
This is my second civ game and I friking love it. The user interface is awesome, it still feels like you are playing a board game but somehow looks like a video game. 100% recommended!
Upgraded from iPhone 12 Mini to a 13 Mini and the game is zoomed in slightly which hides some of the UI elements and makes the game very difficult to play. Looks like this issue is being resolved in a future update. This game will be playable again and very enjoyable.
Fun quick game that changes depending on how your opponent plays.
I love board games and this is one that I would be hesitant to play on the table due to the complex accounting, but the app takes care of that! A bit tricky to learn, but I caught on quick after a few playthroughs
App has always been amazing but just recently it starting freezing on me frequently. Often when I was ending my turn, it would freeze and I’d be forced to hard reset and re-do my turn. This never happened to me over months of owning the app. I’m wondering if the recent update for “bug fixes” actually caused more problems than they fixed? This was a perfect app before but it is very irritating to play right now. It freezes during pretty much every turn I take.
