I use this app to track how long my dogs spend on our bed. Some dogs have a lot and some dogs have less. It’s fun to track the dogs with this app!
This is the only time tracker I’ve ever used, so I’m not sure how it compares to others. But it’s pretty straightforward and does the job.
I use this app to track multiple things in my life. I can easily go back and look at how much time I've spent on different things, or where I am at for my goals for the day or week. I can also export this information to excel or numbers. There are some graphical things that are weird and a few functions I wish for but as a whole it works great.
Timelines is a great app for me because I’ve wanted to track where my time was going and be conscious of how much still needed to be done in other areas. It’s worth the paid subscription to get more categories for your activities as well as giving you great data graphics. I can see what areas need more time and how much I’ve accomplished over long and short periods as well as set monthly, daily and weekly goals. I don’t think I’ll cancel my subscription any time soon, it’s terrific.
Simple, clean interface. Intuitive to use. Easy to customize. Easy to edit. Concurrent tracking. Seamlessly integrates with the Apple Watch. Not too basic, but also not overly burdened with unhelpful information as part of the main interface.
This continues to be the absolute best time tracking app and UI. The development is active and the developer is excellent. This should be at the top of everyone’s list of productivity tracking and reporting apps.
I’ve used Timelines off and on for 4 years, and of all the apps I’ve ever purchased, it’s given me the most bang for my buck. Intuitive to use, simple to set up, and extremely customizable. It’s identified why I felt like I had no free time, where I was spending too much time, and how to create the life balance I needed. This sounds like a lot of benefit for a few minutes spent clicking a button each week, but seeing exactly what you do throughout the day and week is really powerful. iPhone inte
I have been using Timelines for 6 yrs. Fantastic UI, powerful reporting, graphs and exports. Very easy to use to track time. Works seamlessly from my Watch to my iPhone [even to my Mac desktop]. The developer has always been responsive and welcomes all feedback. Timelines is absolutely indispensable! THANKS!
If you need to keep track of how much time you are spending on different tasks, this is the perfect app. Very easy to use, no unnecessary features clogging up the UI, reasonable premium price. Highly recommend.
Beyond the functionality, the support actually responds if you have any questions, the app works great. And you see it’s being developed continuously, which makes it fun to keep using. Top!
This app has a well thought out design which makes it useful as a way to track work, study, habits, or anything you need to record. It can be used in a simple basic manner or can allow for detailed information if needed. You can export data easily. Developer continues to update.
I’m a self-employed business owner and I assist several clients and this app really helps me keep track of the time and switch effortlessly between Client timesheets
This app revolutionized my work flow. Consistently updated and easy to use, I strongly recommend it!
As an avid user Timery user, I was always looking for an option that could track my time off-line. Listening to Cortex’s State of the Apps 2024, I realize Timelines is exactly what I was looking for. All the modern features and thoughtful customizations I needed, with the added zip of working locally. Hats off to the developer for a wonderful app!
I appreciate the new widget bar graphs, specifically the “Last 7 Days” reporting option. I was disappointed to see that “Last 7 Days” was limited to the bar graph widget. This reporting range should be extended to all widgets . Also, as opposed to seeing an average of time tracked for last 7 days, I would like to see my cumulative time tracked for last 7 days. Please make these changes. I’m rooting for you!
Timelines can fulfill many different purposes for different people because of its simplicity and open-endedness. It is a beautifully designed app with powerful tools that allow one to tailor it precisely to their needs. The deep integration within the Apple ecosystem is also a welcome addition, allowing for limitless streamlining and configuration. Overall, it is a joy to work with, and after having used it for many years now, I can safely say it is one of my favorite, most highly-recommended ap
Over the years, I’ve tried so many different ways, and over a week recently I tried at least 4 different apps. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST TIME TRACKING TOOL!! It does everything I need and makes it easy. Top things I love: can track more than one category when multi-tasking (awesome!); can set daily goals as a limit or a goal (fabulous!); can make notes on an event (super!); easy to set up; easy to use; nice charts. Seriously, THIS is the ONE! I was so sick of wasting time trying to save t
Best watch app I’ve used. Easy to start timers and adjust from watch. Great reporting features as well, easily customized.
I've been using Timelines for the last six years to track my time, and I am super stoked about version 3.7 with iOS 17 and WatchOS 10. The attention to detail is amazing! There is now a full-fledged watch app that can do everything that the iOS app can do for those times when I am in deep focus mode without my phone. I also use the app on my Mac to see reports and start timers. Hats off to the developer! Well done on making such a useful app! =)
I use this app to track all time for work and life. It’s fantastic and I don’t know how ppl track time traditionally. Good for ppl who need to track billable hours and generally want to monitor their time. Automatic shortcuts to track workouts and sleep.
This is actually the second time I am reading the app. The first time, I only rated it three stars. I was frustrated that I couldn’t figure out how to sync my iPhone with my Apple Watch. Now I understand everything, and I have to give it a raving five stars! I love tracking my time with this app. It makes everything so easy. It’s very motivating as well! I’m so happy I understand things better. I wish there was a way to organize my tasks in alphabetical order. I still rate it five stars though.

This is the easiest time tracking app I have found. I started with the free version and have upgraded to Pro to get more features and to support the creator. He created and is constantly improving the user experience (based on the history of updates). I highly recommend!
I have a lot of work to balance and I'm trying to get the most of every day. This app helps me see where my time goes and hold myself accountable.
So far I’m using the non subscription version and it is exactly what I’ve been looking for. You can easily track tasks and export the data you need. It’s fast and simple.
I’ve had several time keeping apps, but they all assumed how I work, what I do when I work, and a number of other things about projects. I couldn’t easily go back and modify the time spent, or the billing charge. This app just flat works, and fits my needs perfectly. Well done guys, well done! By the way, among other things I also write custom software for testing and measuring. I know how hard it is to make a great simple UI. The addition of decimal billing has made quarter hour billing trivial
I’m really enjoying this app so far. I am hoping that this app improves my time management as much as You Need a Budget improved my money management. Both apps seem similar in that they help the user intentionally allocate a finite resource among defined categories. They also provide logical and beautiful ways for the user to reflect on their intended allocation vs their actual allocation. For someone whose brain is not naturally wired to do this (me), it drastically improves quality of life bec
I use this to new track of my jobs and it’s great o can start and stop if needed and it saves it to the events which can be titled when staring or named after. It works awesomely on the Apple Watch and iPhone and I even have a widget on the phone. Thanks
So worth the upgrade for $19.99 annually. It’s helping me be more productive and mindful of how I spend my time, and I have all my categories color coded. Great app for OCD biohackers or anyone trying to increase their productivity and see where their time is going each day, week, and month! The option of setting daily, weekly, and monthly goals is a great feature as well, especially if you’re trying to limit your time spent on something, like TV or social media. Also finally I see how much slee
I tried all the time trackers and this one is by far the best! The price for premium seems a little high but I am ok with it for now. Can we make groups so that we can organize our timelines a little better(fitness, family, work, etc)?
I am using both the watch and the iPhone apps to track time on spent on habits I’m trying to develop. So far, the app has been quite a help toward encouraging and reminding me to carry on.
I cannot properly evaluate this with only 3 tracking categories in the free version. To me that’s totally useless. At least give us 8 categories or more, even just for a limited time to try it out. I wanted to try this fully before paying $20 but with only three categories it’s not a useful trial. Will try another app instead I guess.
It can easily be tailored just about any way I can imagine, and helps to keep me focused. I’m very impressed.
I have been using Timelines for around 5 yrs now & this app has been an invaluable and indispensable tool in my life. Fantastic UI, powerful reporting, graphs and exports. Very easy to use to track time quickly & easily w/out impacting my workflow. With v3 it works seamlessly from my Watch to my iPhone to my Mac desktop. Absolutely indispensable!
I absolutely love using Timelines it’s super easy I just make up my own categories touch a spot to start the clock running I can revise the time. Really easily it will let me in to to add or revise at any time so it’s not like if I don’t do it right at the moment that somethings happening it’s an issue later it’s not like that I highly recommend it to lots of people and especially especially subcontract or remote workers or workers that are out that don’t have another way from the employers to t
This is the best time tracking app hands down. The developer is consistently incorporating feedback and releasing updates. Glad to support someone so consistently providing for the user
I tried all the time trackers and this one is by far the best! The price for premium seems a little high but I am ok with it for now.
I’ve tried several time tracking apps but this is by far the best one I have found. It has a bunch of features but doesn’t feel cluttered. The Apple Watch app in my opinion is a must have.
I love this app. I use it for my weekly reflection and it helps to track my time.
Needs hierarchical tasks/timelines and calendar sync. Add that and you’ll win me over. I’m using Now Then app.
Super useful tool to help me put in a lot more time coding. I’ve got a much better understanding of the work I’m doing to achieve my goals. And the apps got all the features they could want and is easy to use.
This app has everything you need and nothing you don’t. Are you kidding me? Brilliant app! Never change anything. Please. It is the simplest, easiest, nicest time management tool I think I may ever experience. Great app.
This is hands down the best time tracking app and UI. The development is active and the developer is very responsive.
I use this app to track all work activities. It’s the most helpful thing on my phone. New Home Screen widget also shows total work time witj piechart
App is old, antiquated and offers none of the standard features much cheaper hour tracking apps offer. I paid for this app & considered using it again. Nope. No way. Heck naw. Never gonna happen. They won’t paid users to subscribe. $40 bucks per year. No refund. No apology. Just limit app. Try Time Arc as your new Time Logger/ Time Tracker Went with Time Arc. Pay once and you own. Has auto GPS tracking. You can have multiple jobs going which auto trigger logging based on your preprogrammed jo
