11 Positive User Reviews for Tin Star

Amazing

Great writing, and the story is very detailed. There are a variety of ways to develop your character based on your choices. This is a long game. It will take a couple of hours to read, but it will be worth your time.

Perfect

Definitely one of the best Choose your own adventure games I've played. Every choice feels impactful. The story is told incredibly, and it becomes very immersive. It felt like a good book that you could just put yourself into and live that character's life.

Hoo Mah Gawd I love it

It is worth every penny if you want a great story. I finished it in two days, but it's because I was essentially cramming it like a good book. If you love westerns you will want to make love to this, if you like them, definitely dinner and a movie and possibly a long relationship, and if you don't like them, this is a great chapter book that you control for a decent price, and best of all: You can read it again for a different story!

Best in Class

I believe this is the best CoG interactive fiction game yet. The cast of characters is large, interesting, and memorable. The setting is strong and changes over time in interesting ways. The narrative is fantastic and the scenarios blend solid creative writing with solid game design to create an epic adventure that the reader gets to make interesting decisions within and see how the consequences unfold. This is the best piece of interactive fiction on iOS and you need to play it.

Amazing

Like so many, I was nervous spending so much money on one app. Luckily, I ended up loving it! The story length is well worth the price paid as well as the characters. It does take a little while to figure out that there is a plot to the story, and its dealt with rather quickly in the climax. At the same time there is SO MUCH replay value to this story. And I mean, SOO MUCH. It is clear a great deal of hard work went into this story and definitely deserves more love then it has.

Cowboy themed

This is one of the better CoGs. It is long, rich and detailed, worth it if you're okay with the Wild West theme. You're a Marshal. There's bribery, gunplay, the wilderness. You meet Native Americans, bandits, and Wild West law enforcements. It's fun!

Wow! Great Game!

I'm new to Choice of Games/Hosted Games, but I've recently become obsessed, and Tin Star, along with Choice of Robots, are my favorites so far. In Tin Star, the amount of detail is incredible and the way you can develop your character is really unique for a text-based game. The game is immersive, and you can be whoever you want to be: a corrupt marshal, a fair but firm marshal, a Chinese/American Indian/Female Marshal, a total screw up, a hard-drinker, a man or woman obsessed with piety or the l

I think this might be the best one!

Omg the characters are so well written... Your choices and skills matter so much! I love this game soooooooooooo much!

Historically Accurate and Extreme Immersive

I never write reviews for apps but there was no way that I couldn’t for Tin Stars after completing my first play through. This is the BEST cyoa that I have ever read. The story is historically accurate, true to the time period when it comes to interactions with various characters, and the story is simply fantastic. I cannot wait to play this again and again. Definitely worth the money!

This Game is Great

This game is a fun way to spend long car trips or just when your bored. There are so Many Choices That Each ending varies in vastly different ways. My only dislike of the game is that it is to Short and that at one point it seems like you should be able to continue and really want to but then the game ends.

Uncertain Until I Played

This game I wasn’t sure if I wanted to download but I’m dang sure glad I did I’m very impressed and glad I got to be apart of the storyline thank you…
