What about a color or theme?
I literally cannot see anywhere in the mobile app how many tasks I have due today. The other parts of the update were good, but this outweighs all that
We need a true black theme along with a true black icon. Just like things 3, actually take advantage of oled screens
Ever since iOS 17, I’ve had issues with my widgets. They’re consistently a black rectangle. Please fix! Other than this issue, have never had a problem and love the product. Keep it up.
Great organizing, but a little too much going on
personally, i find the "fire up your web browser and let your browser launch todoist" to be lazy security. also, i don't want to have to opt-out of being on your mailing list. it should be opt-in. i never asked to be subscribed, nor do i want to be and i shouldn't have to explicity unsubscribe. pretty sure this is a no-no in EU and just tacky everywhere else. i sure hope todoist starts to look at security and privacy with the same attention to detail they put into the actual app.
It’s the best productivity app, but that doesn’t mean it’s perfect. What I’d like to see: deadlines, an in-app calendar, and more theme and text customization.
After going through many planners and Apps, I am finally home with ToDOist! Best out there by far, worth the upgrade. Work outstanding with GTD. You can’t go wrong here.
This app has been helpful but one thing i really dont like about it is that whenever i add a date into the title of the thing i need to do (ex: “Lifeguarding orientation April 23), it automatically takes the task and makes it to where i cant see it until the day that it needs to be done. This very much defeats the purpose of having a to do list because i want advance notice for things, i don't want to see them the day of. Please make it possible to keep a task with a date visible in the daily in
This app does just about everything I want for free. You can set ongoing or recurring tasks, assign project names to things, and it automatically updates to show you your most pressing tasks. The only things I wish it had are 1) some archiving capability so you could see what you had worked on last week and 2) I wish there were more project options but you can get that with the premium version.
My to-do list does not need 2FA. Please allow us to opt of of the prompt
I’ve been using Todoist Pro for over 2 years on iOS and my desktop. It has made me less stressed, more productive, and better at prioritizing my work each day. I would describe the app as flexible and powerful, yet still quick and easy to use. It's not bloated, not complicated, and not overwhelming, which makes it an amazing app for managing multiple projects and prioritizing many tasks.
This has had a huge boost on my productivity and organization!!
I love todoist, it helps me run my entire life, for real! I love that I can add items from my Apple Watch, share projects with others, assign tasks to other people, and everything is in real time.
Not a bad app at all but I’ve tried everything and I cannot get it to send notifications. Everything is on in settings and in app but nothing. I even compared to settings with my Google Tasks app but still nothing. I tried to switch to Todoist since it is able to set a day and time automatically via speech (as long as you state the time first). I’m hoping this can be fixed. ~hopeful user
Idk where this app has been all my life.
I’m a high school student who would be failing half my classes without Todoist. I’ve used several planner apps and this is by far the best one I’ve found 👍
Absolutely love the hierarchy of the projects and the sub task option- enabling managing my complex work and life Also the ability yo connect with slack and spark mail is a key -turns message or mail with attachments to a task in Todoist , very powerful 5 stars!
This app right here is Genius.
I personally have been using Todoist for over two years, and have loved it. From the little sound it makes when I check something off, to how customizable it is, no other to do list app stands a chance!!
I’ve been using this app for two years now, and I haven’t found anything nearly as good at keeping me up to date on tasks. It’s a super efficient program, in part because you can access it on any device, including through chrome. The project function is especially useful in keeping track of my assigned homework.
Helps me feel organized and in control of my schedule. Totally recommend!
I’m in the top 1% of users according to them so I’d say I’m a fan.
Todoist has been how I keep my life together for the past couple years. I absolutely love this app :) the flexibility is awesome. EXAMPLE: Do laundry every Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 8:30am The above will highlight everything but do laundry and when you add it it’ll become a recurring todo item. The newest update cleans up the interface a lot and makes choosing projects and seeing your completed todo items much easier! Love this app
First of all, I love the option to change the app icon to rainbow colors. Something so simple makes me so happy. The app is very well-designed. It’s sleek, functional, and efficient to use. Worth going premium for, but the free version is great too. Update: Would also like the ability to hide distant events in the “upcoming” list. A friend’s birthday next May is just not something I need to see right now. Maybe limit it to a month out?
I have been using this app for several years and have enjoyed it. However, I have two suggestions. I would love to color code my tasks, without prioritizing them. Also, it would be so nice if there were two task columns. One could have a list of all tasks, the other would have a list of days. Then, it would be so helpful if you could simply drag and drop the task between the full list of tasks and each day.
Great app with plenty of features for organization Apple Watch app needs to be revamped so you can add tasks on series 7!!
App is great, I've used it on both an android and an iPhone. When using this soon on my android all features and functions worked, but on my iPhone the productivity panel always comes up with "unknown error" when I try to open it and the app won't sync with my PC.
I like this app because it keeps you accountable and it’s easy to use. I use the free version and in my opinion that is all you need. Just get the app, in the end it is just a tool to help you keep track of things. If you don’t follow through that’s on you
I’ve been using Todoist for over 10 years. This is an amazing tool for managing your task list.
I used Todoist a few years back and I don’t remember it being this awesome. If you take time to do a brain dump of all your tasks, then organize them optimally, the rest of your life is on auto-pilot. I don’t normally get a subscription to an app, more of a buyer than lessor. For this version of Todoist I made an exception. Great app! Customer service was top notch too. (FYI, I used an email request and they got back to me within 24 hours, which is fine.)
App is great but just had someone access my account. Two-factor authentication is standard and easily implementable. For an app as popular and developed as ToDoist, it’s unfortunate their security has not kept up with industry standards.
with this app it always reminded me to do my summer packet for school super useful
“It is really good for organizing tasks super easy to use and keeps me on task sometimes setting up Todoist can be a little bit tricky but one YouTube video later your all good!” Said the anonymous person at the end of the hall
The app and its compatibility are great, but there’s no way to dictate notes from the Apple Watch to Todoist. This is a basic feature that competitors like Things and TickTick can do easily. This is an important part of my workflow to quick capture to dos and unfortunately is a dealbreaker.
I know that the subscription model is all the rage, but I would rather buying it outright. it’s a good app, but the subscription turns me off.
I love this app…but I can’t log into a pervious account, only make a new one.
This is by far the best app I’ve ever used (and I’ve used many) for tracking and managing tasks. The design is innovative, the code is stable, the workflow is genius. I absolutely love it. We’ll done, developers.
The app is great—the natural language processing and other app integrations make it really useful. But the widget needs a bit more pizzazz. At a minimum adding circles to indicate tasks and/or color coding by project would be great.
This is the end all be all app for productivity! The creators are simply geniuses!
Does the todo stuff good. Enjoy!
I searched through like a dozen To Do list apps a couple years ago, and Todoist was the one I ultimately decided on. No regrets! It has pretty much all the functions I wanted from a to do list app, and it keeps getting improved all the time.
It’s ok. I like to be organized. Thx.
It’s great because: - it’s cross platform - right balance between simplicity and features - thoughtful design regarding task processing
The old list app I loved doesn’t exist anymore and I was happy to find this one as a replacement. Simple interface, allows me to share with people, works well for me.
