I searched unsuccessfully to find an app that included 5 string scales, modes, etc. This app is well worth the money. I wish I’d have found it sooner!!
This app makes putting together parts of music together super easy; however, I wish I could control the octave of the chord.
I really enjoy this app it is very intuitive its a one of a kind app I love that it gives you everything you need to be creative in the lab (STUDIO) I write everything from Gospel to jazz to Prog Rock this little investment will keep even the newest producer on point thanks developers for making such an awesome and amazing Music Tool!
Is there a way to print chord pictures under/over the chords names?
Loving this app so far!!
Not really intuitive, bit chunky. Functions aren’t that straightforward either. Putting together a progression with this app is more effort than plain fun.
As a songwriter, this app is helpful especially as I’m increasing my music theory knowledge. There’s not a reason to at least try it!
I don’t have word to say thank you 🙏 woooa Thank you 😊 💯 time
…did I say brilliant? So yeah…brilliant!!!
This app is truly amazing and I love it although, there is one slight feature I don’t like and that is not being able to have a ukulele playback sound. I do hope for it to be added in soon other than that it’s great ! :)
Gives me ideas when I need inspiration. I use the song writing tool a lot, you can export the midi as well. Solid app!
Forget those chord packs commercials. This is what you need! Create your chord progressions and export midi for your DAW. NUFF said! Props to the developers! This is soooo great! 😃
An addition of 7 string guitars would be amazing since there are 5 string basses. Other than that the app is perfect!
Helped me fill in so many gaps in my theory knowledge and then some. As a result, it’s become a studio staple. One ‘quality of life’ feature I would like to see added is the ability to drag and drop chords when in the edit window.
Great app however would love if sometime in the future we can type out the chord instead of getting only close to a chord you have or are looking for.
Great app and great for songwriting as well!
The only thing I’m missing is an easy inversion control next to the other chord settings
This had everything that I wanted in a songwriting app, thank you so much for creating this perfect app. I'm happy to give any suggestions if you ever want to ask but so far there's none at all . 🙏
My favorite tool for when I’m feeling uninspired. Great for subway songwriting!!
For some reason my chords are all stuck on major 7th mode (the triangle symbol) and every time I try to change it to a regular major chord, it reverts back to the major 7th. I hit the green check mark and it still does it. Any ideas?
I didn’t know how to read sheet music for awhile and when I got this app I learned with scales and now I can.I highly recommend it
Pros: cool UI Easy to use Variety in scales Great learning tool Auto save when you close Cons: Simple chord extensions Crashes often 2 chords per bar Pretty cool, not many complaints
My only thing is i wish there was an option for a fully custom chord. Also is there a way to get an extended sus2 chord for example. Gmaj7sus2
Pretty cool and useful app looking forward to seeing what features are next. One thing i did notice is that the playback of a chord will sound differently based on what chord was played before it? Is there a reason for this?
This is a very useful music creation tool. If you write music or want to learn music you should get this. It really helps with chords
The saving issue has been fixed, and I can once more rate this 5 stars! Great app!
I'm still trying to figure out how to really utilize this app, but I'm looking forward to when I do lol. it is annoying that after buying the app, the full features (like other scale types) are hidden behind a paywall.
A great little app for musicians on the go. Reference the circle o’ fifths whenever you need, work on chord progressions, etc.
I'm a beginner Bass player and this app is present on my daily practice! It helps learn and understand new scales and how the Circle of Fiths work. Definitely a must have!
Incredible app! It’s very apparent that a lot of of time, love, and care went into developing this. Thank you! This is going to be an incredible tool in developing songs.
I could not have imagined a better app to have by your side. One of the greatest music apps I have ever used!
What can I say except I’m welcome
App no longer works after all the updates and it says it should support my device ...was a great app I’m kinda bummed
What a cool and useful, tool for learning and composing ♪♪♪ ヽ(ˇ∀ˇ )ゞ
I just installed the app and have been working with it. It has cool features but it also tends to freeze. I’m not really that satisfied with it because of that.
This app is packed full of great information and useful features . Besides the circle of fifths, the chord names and diagrams are sweet and it has a righty or lefty feature. Recommend!!
awesome app for anyone who wants to make music on the go or even producers like myself. Would love to see a feature where u can export the chords in a midi file so you can drag and drop them into DAW’s like ableton or fruity loops.
This app has become a staple for me and I am impressed by Christian‘s attention to detail and user satisfaction. I anticipate great things to come within this app as well. Bravo and thanks for such a thoughtful and useful tool!
Just a beginner at the guitar, so my opinion may not hold much weight to those with years of experience, but for those who are on the path to a better understanding, getting to know TONALY will benefit the serious minded.
Where has this app been all my life? Easy to use. Easy to understand. So worth it.
I have numerous apps that I use for various aspects of music… But TONALY has filled a gap... You can access incredibly useful tools to improve your musicianship… Instantaneously. Absolutely terrific…
An amazingly intuitive app for the not so intuitive subject of music theory.
This app is amazing, though I have run into some limitations with composing complex jazz chords such as Dominant7b9. Would love to see an expansion of the chord customization feature to build/edit any intervals desired.
The sound quality is very low. The app runs very slow, and the navigation is not simple. I don’t buy apps very often, and I am disappointed that I paid for this one.
I JUST purchased it and it’s cool but I’m immensely disappointed that there isn’t more customization of the time signatures. Only standard ones are available.
