Great concept but very glitchy

Using this a to prepare for next exam in Aural theory where we have to transcribe without any reference pitch. Does exactly what I need it to and I can already tell I am improving. There are several complaints about it not playing the tones. I found the problem is due to having the silent mode switch down on your phone. You need to turn off the silent mode switch for the tones to play. Otherwise works perfect.

This app is wonderful! It’s become less functional though as IOS updates. And now I can’t get the tests to sound out no matter what my settings are or if I restart the app. I think the app just needs a little overhaul and it would be perfect again!

Great app for ear training but sometimes I cannot select what intervals or chords I want to be tested on once I start a test even before the first question. Other than that I enjoy the app especially the intervals quiz.

This is just a wrapper around the website, but it might be nice for offline study.

I reported the bugs to the developer but he hasn’t responded. If your iPhone silent switch is on you hear no sound. That in itself is ok once you figure it out, but the real bug is more than half the time you hear no sound at all or it is delayed by 10 seconds or more. The windows app on my laptop works great but until these app is fixed it’s not too useful. Please fix it and it will be great. Also, a usability issue- the Hear Next buttons should be at the bottom. I purchase the app so I can use it when I don’t have internet. However, if anything happens audio stops. Minor things like moving to the notes app to save screenshots kills the app audio.

Would be the best app of its genre but the problem with the sound is almost unbearable.

I just purchased this app and it’s already being glitchy. I might migrate to another app soon.
