ToPack: Trip Packing Checklist App Reviews

I’m using this for my trip to Denver and Rocky Mountain National Park and it is super helpful.

I’m am a genuine overpacker. I was taking a trip to Panama City, and decided to try it out! It’s awesome. I love that you can make new categories and that you can color code your trips. I didn’t forget a thing. And on the way back I just cross referenced my list and made sure I got every thing. I also love that you can enter the number of things you want because it makes sure you don’t go overboard. Thankyou for this magical packing app!

Crashes immediately on iOS 15.6. Can only get app to start by going into airplane mode and turning off that setting. Hoping for a fix soon. Would otherwise be 4 stars as it’s been a great tool the several times I’ve used it. Especially useful for repeat trips. Loses one star for only offering support via Twitter.

I love the way it has categories that you can just upload to your list. Editing your list is really easy. I don’t know what I do without it.!

I have used this app for two trips now. I don’t usually write reviews but this app deserves one! We travel often for various reasons and using this app I haven’t forgotten anything. I love the way I can add items as I think of something to take. On the day I pack the checklist helps make the last minute packing easy and stress free. Thank you!

Seemed like a great designed app for what it was intended to be used for! On the day I needed this app, it locked out all editing and upgrade possibilities which I planned on until this happened? It went into an archive state on its own? Any help would be welcomed.

Seems from reviews that iCloud has been broken for a year or so. Need it working and syncing on all devices to be useful.

I want to quickly be able to add and remove checklist items and use one checklist as a template to create another. This app makes you go through too many manual efforts to create categories and things. Sure, you can import pre-defined stuff. But then I have to manually delete the items that are not applicable. (and deleting is one at a time with a confirmation prompt). Would be better if I can easily just import a text list, but I can’t. For my needs, it is a hundred times easier to instead use

At first the app seemed like it would be great. Good flexibility with categories and adding items. However you can’t seem to order your categories on your list and the app crashes often when reordering items on the list. Especially when you are trying to move something to the bottom of the list. I was also disappointed when I tried to turn on cloud sync just to find out it’s not working. I’ll give this all a little more time but will more than likely not depend on it for my travels.

Glitchy: if you make a mistake with a location, the only fix is to delete. It's not intuitive and per the title, only a bit better than Notes.
