Total War: MEDIEVAL II App Reviews

I don’t write reviews much, but I thought I owe at least this much for how much entertainment this game has provided for me. In this masterful port, Feral had made the TWM2 experience available for mobile gamers like me. All the mechanics runs smoothly and captures the classic Med2 experience, although the controls do take a while to get used to if you’re new to mobile TW games. Overall, this game has personally provided hundreds of hours of entertainment for me and I cannot recommend this game

It needs control controller support, backbone pro or any controller support like that would make it so much easier. My fingers freeze up, my forearms and hands begin to cramp which has prevented me from playing this very fun title time and time again when I want to come back to it.

احببت اللعبة كثيرا طريقة اللعب و التفاصيل لكن يجب التركيز على التفاصيل اكثر اشكال المدن مثلا الامر متعب لكن ستكون لمسة جميلة للعبة بشكل عام احببت هذه اللعبة كثيرا و قمت بشراء الاضافات و شكرا للمطورين و اتمنى ان يستمروا في الابداع في هذه السلسلة

When I try to control without ai it always unticks it

This game is honestly amazing a cinematic masterpiece though the addition of more factions where some of the rebel settlement’s are would be nice like adding Ireland or the Delhi sultan would be awesome!

The opening cinematics wont play

Ive triead multiple times deleting and downloding the game but all i get is a frozen screen in the menu of the game cant even play the game even with the new update

Love this game but I tried to fight a defensive battle in hotseat mode and despite having selected that I wish to have all battles be playable before starting my campaign the game just auto resolves every defensive battle. (this happened in crusaders campaign)

The games has everything from the PC version. The graphics and gameplay are fantastic. The AI seems to have been improved. It takes a bit of time to get used to the battle interface but once you’ve figured it out it is extremely smooth.

Good game with good quality but there are some issues that need some attention and work. Number 1) When you zoom in on the units you can clearly see that every single soldier looks identical to the next. I am not asking you to make it look like Rome 2 but I would appreciate it if you could and some kind of variation to the troops.

Incredible game, and the extra campaigns such as Teutonic are terrific!

Battle UI and controls are complete and utter garbage, to be expected for a mobile port of the game. Y’all did ur best.

Not lightly said, this ( and total war Rome) have been a favorite for years now. Anybody who has love for age of empires, command and conquer, StarCraft and all those types of games - NEED to play this one. Very few games have reached this caliber - hopefully devs won’t forget this classic and make more like this one!!!

Hi, I used to play this game in PC years ago. I love expanding family members and passing down crown to future kings. Once I had 27 kings in the past and I don’t remember for how many family members in a family tree. Quite a lot of them. That actually caused a game crash. Will it happen also in playing an ipad? When there are too many family members?

It’s a pc game on a phone

This game overall is a fun game to play but definitely needs to nerf and buff some units for example a unit of 60 heavily armored 2 handed knights will die to a unit of 60 lightly armored soldiers which doesn't make sense and also the cavalry needs to be buffed for example a unit of 40 mounted knights dies to a unit of 60 footmen please nerf and buff some units!

Words can’t describe how good this game is…. But numbers cab 100 out of 10

Thanks for the new “old” experience. And now we wait Empire Total War or maybe, Rome 2?

It blew my mind someone put Rome total war on mobile phone. But also medieval and other big games like company of heroes and tropico! And more! I hope they continue and put out Empire Total War for mobile! Love the games, they run amazing! Please keep it up! 💯

in Medeival 2, units with two-handed weapons miss and do not behave adequately in the wheelhouse. (turn their backs, attack slowly, attack wide) In the Kingdoms expansion, they fight at full strength. Please fix this bug in original Medieval 2

Can we get a return to menu button for the expansions

Works great after getting used to the controls I played as a kid and it’s great it’s now playable on iOS

The game is really good but it’s just getting a bit repetitive right now so I’m wondering if mod support is going to come in the near future or it will never come

Was waiting years for the port of medieval 2 for mobile and it plays awesome specially on the iPad Pro with the M1 chip. It does get hot when playing inside 3d battles. You should optimize the game for the M1 chip if it isn’t already. Can’t wait for more ports like this!!! Ps. Would love to see shogun total war on mobile

Super good game just wish the camera angle went all the way to the ground during battles. Like the one in total war rome. It makes it’s hard to tell where you guys are without being to be level with them.

Pretty true to its original. You can’t pass on retinue. You can switch faction heirs. There seems to be a bug with showing your assassins assassination skill level.

Will there be an Aztec Campaign?

Awesome detailed game. Battle controls are a bit tough to learn but overall an excellent port.

You guys have made a game that takes a little while to get used to… like all your games. I didn’t play it before for specific reasons. But you guys listened and made changes that made the game great. BUT<<< YOU NEED TO MOVE THE UNIT MOVE MARKER in battle it touches the unit card at the bottom. Their so close I constantly make mistakes and make the wrong move.

Please fix the two-handed weapon bug

The game plays well aside from some pathing issues in cities during sieges. I have sunken hours into the grand campaign as multiple factions. It is a fun strategy game. I would absolutely purchase a Shogun Total War release.

Why are their no mods

The only issue is we need the extra dlc like kingdoms

in rome total war you can see by holding in the description of the army in the future barracks, you can create a canyon that I want to build; real time, I swipe up or accidentally open a window, the game crashes

Will any dlcs like kingdoms be added in the future???

After the update the shell and cheat input no longer work. Pressing the top corners no longer brings the shell menu to input commands/cheats. (iPhone 17 Pro Max)
