Playing against the machine is fantastic. it does not fool around and shows no mercy makes for a very interesting game

The title says it all. I can find no other BG apps. Play it every day.

This is the best version I’ve found. Good interface and the dice rolls when playing against the computer seem fair. The developer is responsive. Happy that I found this game.

I know you have disregarded this issue, saying the computer has no bias, but…….if you want to see what the complaint is, take stats on games that have been played. I can conservatively state 60-70% of the rolls, particularly dbls goes to the computer. As well as the initial starting roll. It becomes very obvious when you lose repeatedly to the baring off rolls of the opponents dbls.

Love this, it’s fair, and the algorithm feels very natural! Would love to have the pip count displayed on the board without having to slide it away, and maybe have the undo button always visible as well! Thanks for being so meticulous about the dice, it really shows!

Good play. Would be nice to have a better interface for playing others on the Internet.

This game is the best ever. Very realistic.

I’ve been playing this game for a long time and my opinion is that when you play the advanced level that 9 times out of 10, the cpu has the advantage of numerous doubles and rolls that repeatedly knock your players out such that you can’t advance. It would be fun if the odds were more even and the rolls were random such that you had an equal chance of winning. The developer says they are random but more often than not, I find that hard to believe.

I know the developer says the app doesn’t cheat but there is something wrong with the dice in this game!

Have had this over a decade and it still works flawlessly. Take my iPad to restaurants and my husband and I play all the time. I’ve tried other apps and nothing comes close to this one.

I play everyday against the game and I’ve gotten way better when I play other people now! Great set up and fast play love it just wish they changed up games as they repeat too often !

This App had what I wanted, doubling cube, undo button, speed control, control over length of match, able to turn sound off. Good App.

Great game, I wish there was a way to let the dice roll automatically

I can’t figure how to request a double. And I wish it showed the pip count.

This is a great app to learn & play Backgammon!

Was always a lousy player but now I regularly win against the computer after watching how the opponent ( computer) was playing. I like this game and hope to be ready to challenge others soon.

This game plays intelligently and has any good features. But I am not sure about the dice algorithm. It is random but in checking it against other online algorithms I don’t think it’s as realistic as it could be.

I wonder why the computer won’t resign even after there’s no mathematical way it could win, even all double 6s? Thanks.

This is the best backgammon app I have found. No glitches, totally fair and random dice throws, great tutor to help you improve your game.

Tried several backgammon apps. This is by far the best. Recommend highly.

I love the app and the game. Since updating to iOS 15 however, the app will not function. Is this a known problem?

Plays like traditional backgammon.

This is a middling game, fair until you win repeatedly then the computer brings on the doubles. If you’re a decent player not hard to win.

I’ve been playing backgammon for years. I taught my husband when I met him and was rarely able to beat him after the first few months. A few days with this app and the tutor and now I’m able to hold my own again!

The dice are tilted in favor of the game. It’s become very frustrating and not as enjoyable as it was before latest update

Multiplayer still doesn’t work all the time.

The app freezes.. I can’t get it to work

My only complaint is that this game only uses win or lose, and will not count the pips at the end of the game. Otherwise, it is a very enjoyable game. Thank you.

I really like this game in many respects but the network option, playing a friend, is definitely buggy and not fun.

I enjoy this game, but I find it amazing that the AI seems to always get the right roll of the dice to hit my piece. Maybe just a coincidence. This has become my favorite backgammon game.

While playing with a friend, the dice disappeared and the screen froze. We had to disconnect /connect and then play again.

It would nice to show the PIPs and the computer auto it’s turn. Otherwise a great application.

Tracking doubles and combination need to make a hit always favor the computer. It’s frustrating. You can beat it but it is very frustrating and statistically not TrueType random.

Is Acey Ducey an option in the game? If yes, how do I enable it? If not, please add.

In the advanced player game, just odd how computer throws doubles like crazy when in home board. Still fun, can’t prove anything but happens all the time.

Your blurb is simply a lie! The test it yourself program shows good results but when you go back to actual play the laws of probablity are seriously violated. I am through playing I will go back to playing real people as soon as I can!

Great game. Easy to play. Suggestions: - Congratulate winning player - fireworks or balloons would do - Display when player gammons Displaying a clock would help my sleep!

Very reliable and challenging levels, hours of fun.

Great game, but the dice engine on expert level means the computer hits its points nearly every time, gets doubles more often and gives the human player 1 and 2. It’s a shame that this was the only way they could come up with expert.

Every day they say the die are fair and they are so improbable it’s ridiculous
