I have been using THS for the last 18 months. In that time, my dog and home have received care for over 140 nights, saving me well over $7,000. I’ve only had phenomenal experiences as both a host and a sitter. I recommend the platform to everyone!

I love the app! However when there is an issue like email verification, password change and they are supposed to send you a link I never receive the link. I go to help center and AI Frankie keeps sending me in a loop of do this and that and then he disappears. Please pay a couple real living people who we can call and talk to.

Fantastic service, been using it for years with over a dozen sits. The app works great, no real problems with it that I’ve seen. Only improvement I could recommend is to have the inbox chats update on a more frequent basis, but pulling the screen refreshes them just fine.

Extremely happy that we found a wonderful sitter to take care of our dog and Cat. Both with different personalities along with taking care of our house and plants. Sitter was fantastic and take care of our animals and home and was fantastic and his communication. We already have another Sit planned. This one just for 36 hrs. And she sounds wonderful too. The app has serious issues with a delay in notifications of messages. Many times I found out about a reply or new message 4 to 12 hours after the senders sent it.

Everything is so great but I really wish I didn't have to log in every time I use this app.... being an app and all. Like my bank I totally expect to log in for security, but why would I be worried about housesitting?

Everyone I know is sick of listening to me talk about how much I love Trusted Housesitters. I started using TH in San Francisco over a year ago as a pet owner and found amazing cat sitters for my 2 cats. I was much less anxious leaving my cats when I knew someone would be around. One of my sitters even caught my cats breaking into their food cupboard and I’ve since installed child locks. I love this site - this is purely a software suggestion… From the sitter’s view, using the map feature when searching for available sits, you cannot zoom in and simply click on the individual pins in the area you have zoomed in on. Each time you tap a pin, it automatically zooms back out to a larger area and you have to zoom back in multiple times to take a look at the sits in that given area. It’s infuriating. Please fix this!

Cheryl and David are exceptional hosts! We had an unforgettable time at their beautiful home. They are incredibly kind and generous. Charlie, their sweet pup, made our stay even more enjoyable with fun hiking adventures. He’s so well-behaved and the perfect companion. We can’t recommend this house sit highly enough!

Be aware that you can only have 5 open applicants at a time. For a popular sit, this is really unfair to both the home owner and those applying.

I love using Trusted Housesitters, the company and concept is wonderful! The App itself is very glitchy and frustrating to use - more often than not it freezes, deletes application drafts, and fails to load new messages. Definitely needs a rehaul!

I wish that there was a function for house sitters to put in their available dates and search for listings based on dates, rather than simply location.
