Pics the lowest frequency. Garage band seems to pick the most powerful frequency. (I like that). It hasn’t crashed yet.

I had this app on my iPhone 6 and used it daily in my piano tuning business. When my iPhone 6 froze up beyond repair, I purchased an iPhone 8 and just got my “old friend” downloaded on the new 8. I’ve been using this for quite some time now. It just costs a few dollars for this and it works very well. I just tune my guitar with it.
