It does work! Amazed! ER nurse that has used it a lot.

It does a pretty good job in seeing the veins. I find it is still hard to see the veins that are deep that aren’t readily visible to the naked eye. But helps to see how straight the veins are on the forearms.

I am a med surg nurse and saw this app on an icu nurse’s phone during a pull. Since then I got the app and have gotten a total of 10 IVs in about a months time on people who were a “hard stick”. This app does work well in most situations and helps you find and visualize veins for IVs to prevent over-sticking patients. It’s also helpful to use it with a friend to both look and find the veins and to palpate them. I recommend this app to any healthcare workers who do venipuncture from time to time.

When I purchased this app, I thought it could be some garbage app, but I was wrong. As soon as I downloaded the app, I tested the app on my family. It really revealed all the blood vessels in our arms, legs, etc. it even showed where my wife blown out blood vessel the nurse screwed up on when she drew blood from my wife. This did not work for me. Maybe it’s my phone. I have an IPhone XR. I downloaded vein scanner instead and it seems like it works.

Have always been a hard stick but I can’t spot veins more clearly now. Hope it’s helps me save some sticks!!

This app makes use of the phone’s ability to “see” infrared (heat). It’s no panacea but works well.

I'm an ICU nurse. This app somewhat works to find the veins. It finds superficial veins that will probably blow. However, if you need a line on somebody STAT, it's better than nothing. $.99 would be a much better price point.

This app is amazing. Makes my job so much easier. Makes placing a difficult PVAD so simple!

Seems to only show veins you can see with your eyes anyway

Your better off throwing 4.99 out the window of your car than to buy this app. But it’s my own fault for thinking an app like this really works.

New cameras and light on the new iPhone 11 pro do not allow enough contrast for app to work properly. I can’t see veins like I did on my iPhone 7. Not usable at the moment for me
