At long last, a literate travel app for grown ups. D&M wrote our favourite Cadogan guides, and this app goes is even more in depth than their books. If you love Venice, you'll love this app.

Facaros and Pauls have done it again. The app is a monster at 171 megabytes, but worth every second of download time. The depth of information surpasses standard guides, and the organization of it will make you an expert in jig time. Note that this is not your usual "Venice on the Run." "Eating and Drinking" and "Where To Stay" do not list a bunch of particular places. Rather, they give very broad outlines, with a couple of excellent insider tips on areas, and principles. Beautifully written, meticulously researched, and easy to use - this app is such a useful app when visiting Venice. Highly recommended.

I am a huge fan of Dana Facaros and Michael Pauls' travel writing and this APP does not disappoint! I own at least a dozen copies of their Cadogen guides, and it is such a joy to be able to travel with all of their knowledge, wisdom and humor, contained in an APP on my iPad! I plan to visit Venice soon and will have this wonderful APP as my guide as I plan my trip and during my travels. I urge any travelers to Venice to to this APP with them!

We had a great stay in Venice… Which was made even better by this great app. Learning the nuances of the niche in history, art, architecture, and some of the amazing people that made it all happen, made our trip that much more meaningful. From the Lions at the arsenal to the top of the campanile there is so much great stuff to learn. We highly recommend this app.

Just the right amount of info to further whet your appetite for Venice. I kept reading after I returned home.
