VOI - puzzle game App Reviews

I enjoy the simplicity and deception in this game. Simplicity makes it relaxing (so if you can't figure out one puzzle, the sounds don't stress you out, it's more enjoyable), and deception in these optical illusions create entertainment and challenge - I'm all for it. I haven't made it too far, so hopefully there won't be any pop up adverts. Though I'll be surprised if I see any here. Thanks!

It's hard not to compare this game with Zengrams; voi is similar in concept and similarly satisfying (though not quite as challenging overall). Like Zengrams, there are no in-app hints or level skips, so there is the possibility of getting stuck. However, the number of moves is not limited and the pieces never "fuse," so you're free to fiddle around as long as it takes to find the solution. I love this game. I really enjoyed playing it while it lasted, but unfortunately it didn't seem to last long. I was done with the whole thing in a little less than a week. I keep hoping I'll see an update adding more levels, but thus far, haven't. Please add more levels soon!

I would play this game on and off for few years; take breaks when I got stuck but always came back to. Finally beat all levels. Found the background music to be mellow and relaxing.

Sometimes you will immediately see the pattern and other times it feels more like trial and error until you’ve stumbled upon the correct solution, but overall I enjoyed working my way through the 88 puzzles in VOI. If I had to find a flaw, it would be that VOI doesn’t backup your progress to your iCloud account. That makes me weary that if I delete the game there will be an update in the future that adds more levels and I’ll have to start from scratch.

I like solving puzzles without points, rewards, or timers. This delivers all of that. I want it to view my solution until I dismiss it. It’d be even better if the game outlined the final pieces so I understood my solution. It’s common enough for me to solve by accident, but the app instantly wipes the board to move to the next puzzle. This is rather unsatisfying. Also, the sound can’t be muted. I have my own soundtrack I’d like to listen to while playing.

This game is gorgeous, user friendly, and a real pleasure and challenge to play. Hits all the right spots for me. However, there are no settings within the app so you cannot turn the sound off. I like playing games while commuting and listening to podcasts, and with this game you cannot listen to anything else while playing. That’s the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

I love this game! I really like the design and minimalist design. Some puzzles are super hard and some are pretty easy, but that makes it so you don’t get too bored or frustrated. I did get thru all the puzzles in just a few days. I only wish it was longer, hopefully they come out with more packs to add to the library of puzzles.

This game is so good, it deserves a T2-esque sequel.

The negative space element makes this a really nice twist on tangrams. It very intuitive to use. Starts out fairly easy but gets tricky the further you go. I can see a lot if time gloriously wasted here. :)

Deceptively tricky geometric puzzler. The mechanics are easy to grasp, but getting things positioned just right gets more and more difficult! Reminds me of playing with Tangrams.

You get to peacefully stimulate your brain without a clock running or a demerit if you don't solve the puzzle immediately. Arrange the given geometric shapes on top of each other to replicate the finished image. I dig it...

I find the music to be very soothing, and the puzzles to be stimulating but also no pressure. I'm just sad that there's only a little less than 90 puzzles. Great game!

It's fine but I wish it had an option to change the settings, mostly just to be able to turn off the sound in the app so one could listen to music through headphones without the app's sound added when playing.

This was a fun game. No stress and basic. I hate that I finished all current levels, but I know if I go back and redo some it will still keep me entertained. Great job!

I love the concept! I play on my iPhone, but a larger screen will be better. I'd like it to leave th finished pattern up until you tap, just so you can revel in victory!!

This game has a simple concept but somehow remains interesting. It is a great time passer (like if your in a car).

This is a five-star game EXCEPT that the background music and action sounds turn back on after I've turned them off, and it is unclear where to go to turn them off again.

A very calm game. No timer. No ticker saying how many moves it took you to solve a puzzle. Just a series peaceful puzzles that really make you think. I sincerely hope they release more levels.

I loved playing this game. The background music is very relaxing. I really liked the fact that I wasn't racing against a timer. This is just a fun app all the way around. I'm sad I can't go past level 8 though. I sure do hope you guys add more.

It would be really nice if you added an option to go to the next puzzle and come back later. I have one that is stumping me and I'd love to be able to do others and come back to it.

This is such a fun game. I could sit here for hours... Well, I guess I kinda' did... There are only 88 levels, and I've managed to complete ALL of them! More. More! MORE! :)

Forces you to reconfigure the shapes & really is a great workout for your spatial relationships skills

Only 80 levels, so I finished it in three or four days. And there's not much replay value. When should we expect new levels?

Love the idea and challenge of this game, but I love listening to podcasts and music on my headphones while playing and it's very annoying that I can't turn the music off.

Im old, it hurts my brain but I think maybe its good for it .

I love this game. Got it free from Starbucks and I play it all the time. It's especially fun when you're high. I wish the puzzle would stay on the screen a little while longer before disappearing after you finish it.

Hard to put down once you start. A thinking person's game for those that love spa CIA life puzzles.

Like tangram puzzles but with the pieces changing as they overlap. Stays good even on repeated plays.

Although the app works well and does not crash or have issues I found the puzzles boring . I completed the whole game (89 puzzles) in a short amount of time and did not feel challenged .... save your time and find a more challenging game
