Walkout Song DJ App Reviews

It is user friendly. However, it caps the volume, so it’s not very loud. I’ve also yet to figure out how to share the app or have another coach/parent have access to it. I’m not always able to attend every game, so this would be helpful.

I went through all of the reviews before I placed my order just to be sure. I’ve used all the ones like BallPark Dj and such before. The number one issue I saw keep popping up was the Bluetooth feature. So I just use my normal aux adaptor and have had zero problems with the play feature! I did have to get Apple Music back as I am an avid Spotify user, but I got a deal for 3 months that was only 10$ so in total 13$ for the boys to be pumped up? I’ll take that deal to the bank! I’d love to line up the voice into to a specific time in the song, not just a slider. I’d love the fade to not fade, then chop off at the end. So much better than a competitor. I’d love if the stop/fade buttons would pop up on the screen in the middle, bigger when a song/walk up is playing. I do GameChanger on one iPad, and this on another, and having them bigger and in the middle would be handy.

I really like this app the only issue I seem to be having is the fade out toggle. I have it toggled on for fade in and out but the song cuts sharply at the end of the song instead of fading out. Help!

Very easy to use , can change pronunciation in names also is linked with iTunes just make sure you download the song and you won’t have a problem .

This has been fantastic and easy to use - is there a way to sync phone/ipad so if I make changes on one it will sync and match the other?

App works great. Since baseball season is coming up I’m in the market for a new Bluetooth speaker. Which one in your opinion works best with this app?

Live this app, been using for years but might switch because it is quite inconvenient that it only works with Apple music. It’s fristrating!

I have a lot of issues. When it works, it's awesome but sometimes you go to learn a song and it just can't find the song. You have to close the app and then reopen it. It's a short window for the kid to walk up so it just doesn't make sense. I just use a playlist now.

Many more options and ways to set up our 12U team of players/song choices than any other Walkup/Walkout songs app. I highly!!! Recommend paying the lil $1-$2 fee to rely on such a great program and application you can find in the App Store. Whether you’re an iPhone, Android (yuck!), and/or Google Phone user — Walkout Songs is the BEST and only way to go when having full control over the Aux chord 😉

Please add some excitement to the AI generated announcements. The ability to use AI is awesome but none of them are anything like a game announcer…. Please please please update

Tried a free app but was having too much trouble. Decided to take a chance on this app and it has been a night/day difference. I’ve already told 3 other teams so they can start doing walk up songs!

This app is one of the more helpful apps I have found across app genres. It certainly made our local baseball and softball games much more memorable. I had so many players, coaches, family members, and even umpires share their appreciation for ‘my’ work. But this app did most of the work for me. Now, I’m hoping to find an equivalent for football so I can play music and sounds during our local high school games.

UPDATE: Now I really love the app! The developer got back to me quickly with my questions and provided easy instructions. This app is great and makes music and announcements so easy. The players and fans love it!!! So far I’m loving this app…setup was easy and I love the features. Haven’t used it yet at a game and I’m foreseeing a couple of challenges especially with question 1 below. 1. How do I move players from active to inactive and/or to match the batting lineup? 2. So easy to make a walk up song

When I first downloaded this, the fade out worked perfectly. Then as I went along adding players and songs, suddenly the fade out doesn’t work. It just cuts off no matter how long I set the fade end timing on the settings.

For whatever reason random song selections will say unable to play. I’ve tried restarting the app and restarting my phone in the middle of games and it may help sometimes but not all of the time.

Okay, this app is pretty easy to use and adding players to teams. I’ve used it for a whole season and no issues with the songs playing. The only problem I’m having, which is why I gave it 4 stars…announcements! How do I get the right voice? There are so many to choose from and they all sound robotic. Not sure if this is how they are or am I doing something wrong?

This is an amazing app. In addition to being able to precisely cue walkout songs, you can add categories for any type of event you’d like, and drop music/sounds into those for quick access. Full ability to adjust fade into and out of songs. More powerful than I’d first thought.

Great app for our baseball team. Works seamlessly with Apple Music and very user friendly. Easy to adjust start and stop times on walkout songs to get exactly what the players want for their walkout song.

Having issues creating amounts announcements. Can you please provide instructions on how to do that?

Is this app a one time purchase or is it monthly

Everything is great! Very user friendly, my only complaint is that I wish there was a way to adjust the lineup as need. Our tournament lineup is different than league games, so I’d like to be able to change it fast. Also, I hit one button accidentally and the lineup is all messed up by jersey number now and I cant even adjust it back 😒

Does everything you need but it really would benefit from a professional UI designer overhauling the visuals. Very clunky to do what you need and easy to hit the wrong buttons on accident.

I wish that Apple Music wasn’t my only option of music apps to upload from. I also wished that I was able to adjust volume to uploaded music.

Super user friendly. Have used for 3 years and love it. Like the New update as you no longer have to download the whole song to your device.

I appreciate a developer that responds often and shows that they care. Happy to pay and support this app. It works great. Easy to use and I can set up a whole team in about 10 min which is nice.

I requested a refund because I thought the app was not what I wanted but I figured out the how to use it. I need to cancel my request for a refund, but I do not see that option.

I had this app on my android and it was fantastic. Players, umpires and parents loved it. A lot better customization than similar apps. It looses a 5 star rating simply because I can’t import my team and settings from the android version.
