Wattpad - Read & Write Stories App Reviews

I click onto the search bar I can’t search anything up I redownload it and restarted my electronic still didn’t work

I love this app but I think there’s something wrong with my search bar because it won’t do anything when I click but overall I love this app and all the stories they are interesting but sometimes the ads can get annoying but that’s okay.

I cant type into the search box, when I click it it wont show up my keyboard

i tried to make an account on a different device, but, it wouldn’t let me click search bar. On my other acc, it does.

I just wish when the writers finish the stories, I just wish they would put in what each character looks like so we could have a better understanding of what they look like. The description they put is ok but photos would be nicer

I’ve been using this app for hrs and I’ve never had problems but just for today I’ve been getting the same stupid ad over and over again about “The Perfect Hotel” I believe. And I’ve gotten it 20 times (exaggerating probably 10) and I hate this ad!! I just hate it!! 😂

I had Wattpad for a year and a half and when I used to search things I get it but now when I search it now it does not come up so I made a new one and search it and it does not come up again and it make me mad and sad that I can’t read it anymore so I hope you read this and wattpad make this better

This app is wonderful for writing stories and getting feedback and getting to come up with your own ideas and while you get feedback and input. The decision on what to write next or how your story should advanced further is ultimately up to you and that’s what I love most about this app. You get to write stories of what you’ve had in mind for a long time and they don’t even have to be science. Fiction stories are fantasy stories. It could be historical fiction or I can just be a fiction story an

Was reading a book. But because one of the book got a new chapter it adamantly switched to that one when I opened my phone back up. Never saved the story. Now I have been trying to find it an I can’t. Wish they would put a passed book read on the app so that way if you open your phone an it switches to a different book you can at least go back and read that book. It’s happened a couple of times an it’s getting to the point I don’t want to use the app anymore. Other then love love the app

I’ve had wattpad for about a year now and i accidentally signed out and when i tried to sign back in and put in my birthdate, it kept saying “sorry, with the information you have provided we couldn’t make and account for you”. i put the year as 2000 (because that’s true), i deleted the app & redownloaded it but that didn’t work, shut down my device then went back and that didn’t work, so i changed the birthdate and that still didn’t work.

I used to love Wattpad years ago but since they started giving you ads on every chapter and forcing stories you have to pay for I don’t care for it as much. I guess that’s just how things go now but I preferred it before they started all the ads and the paid for stories.

Amo esta aplicación pero la ultima actualización que hicieron esta horrible. Se demora dos minutos completos cargando un capítulo. Antes era cuestión de segundos o automático y ahora se demora demasiado. Ver los comentarios de mis lectores se demora un siglo. Espero realmente que mejoren ese detalle porque es demasiado incómodo

It’s a wonderful app and it has a nice environment. It grows your writing and reading skills and helps you to make anonymous friends. I think it would be better if it keeps the anonymous milieu and also add more options and better updates in story publishing and commenting. IT IS A MUCH BETTER APPLICATION TO JUST STAY THE WAY IT IS. IT HAS TO GROW ITS ABILITIES BUT KEEP THE ANONYMOUS ENVIRONMENT.

Love the app but these bugs are annoying. It always freezes and you have to wait like 30 seconds to switch or for the books to move to the top when you read them. You used to just be able to click click click. Now you gotta click then wait, click then wait on and on, so annoying especially when your paying for premium.

Hello I been using this app for couple years and it works great I love it but the since the recent update there a problem , it won’t let me in the app it load the wattpad screen for 30 sec and then close the app please I hope you under stand and fix the bugs

I absolutely love Wattpad. It’s such a great app and I love being able to spend my time reading for hours on it which was why I was incredibly sad when, after I had updated my phone to the iPhone 14, the app wouldn’t open anymore. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app and also restarted my phone but I just can’t seem to open the application anymore.

I have been using it for quite some time now, and it is one of the best apps I have used so far! But if possible, I would add a certain feature for fanfics. Many times in fanfics the writers use the words Y/N(your name), L/N(last name), E/C(eye colour), H/C(hair colour), etc, and they’re hard to imagine when reading. I was wonder if you could add like a Y/N feature? Maybe so writers can turn it on and you can insert the names and certain looks and genders and others. Just a thought!

The best app I got on my phone. It dosent even require Internet or money. I love this I can finally read my books and not carrying a heavy book that will get wet! I love this!

Hi! Had wattpad for years. I understand ads are there if you don’t have premium between chapters. I love reading on wattpad, lots of great writers, great idea but without a good vessel, ect ect. However, I’ve noticed ads appearing like I’m on a news website. I hate to complain about this but it’s annoying. It’s best my voice be heard now before it’s too late. Stop putting ads as I’m reading a story. It’s distracting, it’s unflattering, and quite frankly rude to both readers and authors. Fix it!

I’ve been using this app for so long and I’m so happy every time I read. My screen time for this app is so long and I don’t even care. Anyway I recommend

It works well for me I love how I can’t read write story I’ve been shown no problems chats are a slightly lagged when your getting a response. But I love this apppp

Wattpad it good because I gives me something to do I am not always on it it’s easy to stop reading and stuf and it has some grate stories so ya.

This app is overall amazing until this mornings update. I still love the app but the ads at the bottom are making it hard for me to read. I was wondering if anyone could fix that so I could get back to my reading please

Hi there I love this app and there is a problem, I had my 2 story out and I had 2 followers on there and I went to get on it today and it sighed me out so I was hoping if that could be switched that way I saved some stuff on there and have my stuff back I wrote the love of my life.
