Have been viewing the app daily since its inception great when it works Also use it for weather. lately it’s been freezing a lot, not scrolling properly and also just sorry don’t know the terminology, stopping midstream and going back to the homepage all after a few min of use or while trying to read an article. It works fine when i first open it but after a few min this is the experience over and over again. Im finding the last few months extremely frustrating for its use. Was hoping

The app is generally good one to use, but in the last month, it very frequently refreshes itself. This means if you are reading an article, it suddenly takes you back to the Home Screen. I’ve had it happen three times just trying to finish one article!

I am NEVER able to read a story or check the weather without it suddenly closing and going back to home page. Extremely frustrating, especially since I keep the app updated and I am not using an old device. I’m guessing it’s the hundreds of ads trying to load that make the actual story close.

I’ve been tuning in to WCVB for many years. I know that I can’t tune in the EyeOpener News right now, but I do get my forecast for the town that’s not mentioned on the show…Shrewsbury. We always tune in to your noon, 4, and sometimes 11 pm News on weekdays and 5pm News on weekends when there’s no football coverage + EyeOpener News at 10:30 am on Sundays. Love the SKIP NOW ads. It is like a gift to someone who just wants the news. Thanks Still love “SKIP ADD”. Do not like the automatic add on news after finishing articles. Very annoying and old news.

Although I usually enjoy all the news & weather on channel five, I think sometimes they ignore some important facts on various stories, an interesting example would be that they never investigated the deaths of the whales & dolphins off the coast of New York & New Jersey last year, which was reported on the New York stations, it was determined that the underwater explosions for the future wind farms were causing the deaths of these majestic creatures & not local fishermen

I Really wish the app designer implemented Dew Point readings on the Weather description instead of Humidity percentage. Dew point is way more accurate and easier to understand when it comes to knowing when it’s Comfortable, muggy or Oppressive. Why the meteorologist didn’t express to include this is beyond me.

Often the top story in the morning is the same story from the night before. Please update more often.

Fantastic for local news and weather. But drops the ball with accurate national news

OK, admittedly, I have this app primarily for Cindy, but I do occasionally value learning something in the other news reporting of the day to keep me up to speed with life as it is so quickly passing us by.

I’m losing faith in the written news report. Does anyone proofread any more???

When I’m reading a piece of news it closes and goes to Home Screen. Also if I scroll down it refreshes automatically. It’s getting frustrating!

This has been my go to app for news for many years, but I am losing patience with its current performance. While trying to read an article, I am constantly sent back to the lead headline. Happens on iPad and iPhone. Almost impossible to read an article in it’s entirety. Have deleted and installed multiple times to no avail. I stick with it due the app’s successful history. If I were a new subscriber, I’d delete this app and never look back. Please fix this issue!!!

This app has been great for such a long time. For the past month I’ve had the same problems that people have described. I try to read a story or watch a video and the page just quits and goes back to the app home page. This has gone on long enough. Somebody please fix this!

App crashes and always scrolls to the first article when returning. Pain in the 🫏

Website crashes constantly

You can’t read any article without having to watch an ad. So…want to see 5 articles…you get 5 ads. And articles get ‘stale’, sometimes it seems like the same article remains for days…so is it really news if it is old information??

I like to read the news and not stream when away from the TV. This app used to let you read the article. However, now all the articles show only one line of text between ads and it is not showing most of the article.

Full of fake stories with affiliate links, to the point where it's useless to use organically. This is chum to make money.
