Weather Mate Pro - Forecast App Reviews

After trying more than 20 weather apps in the last couple years i can easily rank this one at the top.. only complaint is.. hone screen widgets should refresh more frequently

The weather App that came on the iPhone was in accurate sometimes and didn’t have near the features that weather mate has. I love this app.

I use it every day. Get alerts and the forecast is spot on

Great app but after the recent iOS update, the app will not open

It has the weather at my fingertips. I like the way you can customize it. You can save different locations, nice for travel or checking for people far away. The map is nice that you can change the layers. And it gives me the weather alerts for where I am.

I love the new update. Thanks so much for adding the forecast discussion. I used to always go back and look at that on their website. This makes it so much more convenient. I do have one suggestion: could the radar loop be a shorter time frame? Maybe like two hours instead of six hours? Or maybe that’s just a personal preference 😄. Keep up the good work. 🙏

Very complete information, and even includes fronts. It would be a nice add if the future radar could show the fronts moving as well as the cloud cover and storms. Thank you!

This is BY FAR the best weather app you can get. I’ve tried many apps over the years and this one checks so many boxes. Specifically, I’m pretty sure this is the only app that has a widget that shows a 3-day forecast and radar side-by-side which is amazing. The only thing I wish for in Weather Mate are push notifications for precipitation starting soon. I’d pay a higher subscription for that feature.

I have had this weather app for some time now. I use it everyday even when I travel as I can look forward to see what the weather forecast is out ahead of where I am going. It is a bit irritating when the radar keeps going after using it and go back to home. I have found if I slide the arrow as far left as I can it seems to stop the radar from popping up. Thanks so much for creating the app for Mac! I felt lost without it on my desktop as it’s been my favorite weather app for years on my iPad.

I have tried a lot of weather apps and Weather Mate Pro has been by far the best. It is so many customizable options on the iPhone and Apple Watch. Being able to set the weather source for personal weather stations gives me hyper local weather. The widgets are just more informing than what you get with Apple Weather. I decided to pay for the one time no ads purchase and would recommend you do the same!

I use this app on my IPhone and now on my Mac. I trust the information given, not only temperature, but weather conditions, and cloud coverage. I have four other locations that I like to keep track of, and this app allows me to do that just by selecting one of the other defined areas.

Ads are to long and difficult to minimize the app is fine

I’ve had the Weather Mate App for several years now. It has been, hands down, my favorite Weather App! It’s very detailed and customizable. I like the many overlays you can add to it with just a tap and the level of detail you can access from different local Weather station locations. You can even use a blended weather forecast by selecting a couple different local locations. It’s also a nice app to look at (it’ available in Dark Mode too). AND it is a great Apple Watch Weather App as well!

This is my preferred app at of all the weather apps available. Easy to customize the views, easy to track multiple locations.

Top weather app stop searching

I have no complaints over 2 years time - plain & simple - it does what it’s intended to do. The layout is somewhat customizable & user friendly (easy to understand & read) & the information given is pretty accurate 97% of the time. Only wish the alerts sounds were a bit more distinctive! ( Warnings need to really alert you. ) Other wise - I would highly recommend this weather app over many others.

If you want real weather updates for your local area & immediate area, I highly recommend this app! I use this app for daily activities and work (as I use to do landscaping), let’s just say I’ll use nothing else for my weather….highly recommend to any one who wants reliable information! i have this app for a long time I tried over 20 apps till I settled on this one graphic, accuracy, notifications, works flawlessly

This is a great app, the wind speed in my area is hardly right but still a great app. Work great for severe weather here in tornado alley. Love this app. Except the colors you need some more, to many alerts have the same colors. But now the map shuts downs in 1-minute

It would be nice if you would change the background picture once ok in a while. Disregard that comment, I love WeatherMate!

This is a pretty good weather app as far as all the information it provides and it has a great radar. BUT ! !!!…the biggest complaint I have is as a paid app when something doesn’t work it’s nerve racking !!..this would be THE PERFECT APP IF YOU WOULD JUST FINALLY FIX TJE WEATHER RADIO !!! I mean COME ON !!!.. All those emergency weather alert stations AND NOT ONE WORKS !!! If you would just fix that part of the app no other app out there could even come close to what your app does. I really like seeing the current temperature on the app on my desktop and not having to wait for it to load. Good weather app. I replaced one that wasn’t reliable and too complicated to scroll through with this one. Very pleased with it. Would like option to change from dark background. Still I give five star rating. My daughter loves it also. Other app we used for years changed And was no longer easy to scroll through. Like ability to switch between cities easily when planning a trip.

My husband and I use this app daily. We especially like the radar. The predictions are pretty accurate - which can be difficult here in the mountains.

This weather app provides all I need to see in local weather and so much more is at my finger tips. There if i need to see it but does not crowd the screen with unwanted data. I am enjoying using it and it is my go to weather information. Thank you.

The screen layouts make it a breeze to get all the weather information I need at a glance. The History feature allows me to integrate an accurate glimpse of the real weather conditions in my fictional story telling.

Love all the features in the app and different layers on the weather map you can choose from

I like everything about this app except the map time late, especially during inclement weather. Being 6 - 22 minutes late is unacceptable. For radar I rely on Storm Radar, (3-8 minutes late). 11/25/2023 Lately I have see it more accurate on my iPad, but just as bad off on my iPhone.

If you are new to weather apps or an old pro this is the most useful app because it gives you the most information. The graphics are gorgeous (yea the FRONTS ARE BACK and new isobars!). You may be unfamiliar with some of the information but just do a search and learn! Weather is the most important aspect of our environment and this app helps you understand what’s going on and what to expect!

I love tracking weather. I’m always looking for the best weather apps that will do great for future forecasts and also give me weather history. Found it with this app! Love it.

I have NINE weather apps on my iPhone [you can tell I’m a software geek], and last week I just found Weather Mate. I’m really impressed - it has everything I need or want, and I highly recommend it. I think it’s the first time I’ve ever paid for an upgrade for a few “extras” the day after I downloaded some software. If I ever run out of room on my phone I’ll know where I can make some space because Weather Mate does everything.

I prefer this one over many many others Ive tried. I refer to the widget many times a day and if I press it it’s quite QUICKLY giving me a whole lot more of details and info on several locations of my choosing. This app is worth it small price for a radarized widget capability. ♡´･ᴗ･`♡

Crashes occasionally.

It’s exactly what I was looking for. Has all the info you need. Need nothing else but this app for your weather. Nice! And I’m sick of reviewing this once a month. Give me a break!!!

I have tried them all. This is by far the best. Watch app is the most comprehensive that I have seen. Radar is very smooth. This app has many customizable widgets. Above all, forecast is accurate! I have deleted all of my weather apps. This is a keeper.
