Weather Simple – NWS Forecasts App Reviews

This app looks extremely nice compared to dozens of apps I've tried. The weather for today is written out in a nice sentence. Other detailed surround it. Scroll down to get long term outlook. This app makes finding out the weather fun. I'm glad the developer made this. I'd give it an extra star if it had a dark theme. Note I don't let this use me GPS. I manually add locations. I find I'm mostly just at a few places anyway so this saves my battery.

No more guessing what the weather is going to be from numbers, this app finally puts the current weather and forecast into words. It's so well designed and intuitive. I love how I can just read a quick blurb instead of having to scroll through the whole day of temperatures like other crappy apps. I check it once a day and I'm all set. Such an elegant design also. It's a must have app, since you can now delete the Apple weather app. I look forward to more apps from this company.

Can't change 'F to 'C

I like reading a prose description of the weather rather than numbers. App is also very accurate.

This app uses weather data straight from the National Weather Service. It makes life quick and easy to get my updated weather in paragraph form. LOVIN' IT!

I love this app it is really awesome. The one thing I wish I could see the thunder storm forecast in the hourly .

I’ve been using this app for years and really enjoy the simple interface compared to all the clutter found in other weather apps. I frequently recommend this app to others. However, on far too many occasions the app struggles to load and constantly displays the following error message: “Data request time out.” When this happens, the app essentially becomes useless. It seems like a problem with finding a user’s location, connecting to a server or something along those lines. Please provide a fix!

iPad support would be tremendous

Used to love, but hardly connects to the internet anymore. And also can't find downtown Chicago, Illinois. Big glitch?
