Love this app and weather station.
I love this app it gives me specific information for my neighborhood and I can see other Davis weather link stations in areas I plan to visit. Living in the Midwest were the closest town is over 35 miles away we find it very useful. Thank you
Slow w/ Critical Updates
Around the fall of 2023, this app lost its ability to handle live updates (whether a fault of iOS changes or Davis). Just last week an update was finally released fixing the issue nearly a full year later even after many chats with tech support being aware of the issue.
This is a replacement for my prior 1-star review as they did finally fix it returning the app to usefulness.
Update
A few of us in these reviews requested landscape mode but fell on deaf ears. But the Smartmixin app covers it so that’s good news!
Update: WeatherLink App seems to be working now for Air Quality
Great app only missing one feature
Great app I love having all the information I need in one place. I just wish there was weather widgets to put on my lock screen that would be so handy than that. I love this app.

Feels Like number in AP is pretty much way off
AP works well with the exception of the “feels like” number which teds to read far too high during warm weather when it should approximate the “heat index” number. Often off by 20+ degrees.

How ‘bout an Applewatch app?
fixed plots, still nags, live not updating
Update 7/18/23
Latest Update- weather link live updates not showing
fixed plots 👍🏻- now positions at current, scroll to older still nags to update other people's stations 👎🏻👎🏻 still no landscape on ipad 👎🏻
No Landscape mode
It appears that users have been asking for Landscape mode for several years. Not having this view on IPad, does render the app useless for many.
Animations
No problems with the app but there seems to be no option to disable animations.
Great App Overall with a minor bug
App works well
However, if you have a station that you added to your Home Screen and then the site is removed from the main list, you cannot delete the station from you Home Screen. Please fix this.
Weather number
Why 50°F bring back 50.0°F. Still 50.1°F to 50.9°F

Needs Landscape Mode iPad
I like the app on my iPhone, but since I use my iPad 99.9% of the time in landscape mode as it is connected to a Magic Keyboard, this app is useless.
Dev - Please add landscape mode.
iPad customers neglected : UPDATE!
This app is in serious need of landscape mode for iPad users. I have been requesting this feature for years. And for the amount of money we invest in Davis instruments /weather stations it should be an easy task to satisfy their customers. Until then just keep removing your Smart Keyboard and rotate to portrait mode, fellow iPad users……
UPDATE!! I have found a real nice app to replace WeatherLink. It’s called SmartMixin here on the AppStore. It has everything WeatherLink offers plus one addition
Live features of WeatherLink broken about 90 days ago
The critical feature of live data on iOS platform version of app was broken either with iOS 17 update or client app update that occurred last fall. Was very disappointed to see it’s still not fixed in this week’s latest WeatherLink iOS app update. Please tell us how to downgrade to an earlier version to restore Live data. 90 days is too long for this critical feature to be broken. Would have rated the app a 4 or 5 if the live feature still worked (there is the iPad issue of no landscape mode
It's functional, but Davis is lacking innovation
This app has been out for a while now, and its still locked in portrait mode on iPad. iOS 17 also broke the live streaming from the WeatherLink Live device, and they have yet to fix it, four months later. Contacting tech support is iffy at best - sometimes I never ever hear back. I suspect staffing levels at the company are quite low to support the mobile products given the responses I've read. I'm frustrated because I spent a lot of money on the hardware, and it's locked quite a bit to Davis' i
Very buggy and slow
Often drops connection and there’s no obvious way to get data from the station updating in the app again. Customer support is very poor and you must always write an email and wait a long time for a response.
OK on a phone but useless on iPad
This app is OK on a phone but really needs landscape mode to be useful on an iPad.
WeatherLink support
For more than 3 months unable to connect via Bluetooth or Ethernet. Tech support nonexistent. Worked well for few years but forget it if any issues despite calls, emails etc. faulty software. All other devices connect with networks fine. Impossible to get help despite already paying one year pro subscription. Many hours spent to no avail, no response
