Every time that iOS releases a major update, this app stops working. The app is only updated about once a year. It’s a shame, because other than that, I really like the application.

Why can’t this app sound off when the phone is locked??? After all, REAL clocks work even when thel ‘lights’ are turned off

Nice simple app that does what it says. I like that I can choose a start and end time but it would be great if I could also choose days that it is active. But this is a minor quibble otherwise it is just what I was looking for. Thanks.

I love this app; it is everything I've been looking for. The only recommendation I would have would be to make the audio ducking on the initial chimes optional. Invariably, the chimes begin when I'm listening to something important. I would like to be able to hear other audio at the same time as I'm hearing the chimes.

Wasn’t working after ios 16 update but i got it to work finally. Disabled the locked screen notification. Not sure if thats what did it … but at least it works again!

I’m running iOS 15.7 and just bought your app. I don’t have any scheduled silent times, volume off, or mutes on, and I notice that the clock only chimes when I keep the app open. Any suggestions to hear chimes while out of the app?

It was great when it did work, thus the three stars. I hope the developer hasn’t given up on it… : /

Thanks to the developer for updating the app for iOS 15! It’s back to what it was, unless you have an Apple Watch… the notification goes to the watch first and the chimes don’t play. No way to disable it from going to the watch…

Love this app! I appreciate having a grandfather clock everywhere I go!

This clock has been on my iPhone for years and I will never have another one. It is the best clock out of all of them on the App Store. It is pleasant and not obnoxious when chiming.

I recently updated my phone and the app no longer chimes. Please fix. Been a big fan of your app and would hate to loose it.

Reinstalled but nothing…does the payment cease after 3 years?

This app works great. Don't overlook the spoken feature (instead of a chime), which is much less interruption when listening to audiobooks or podcasts because it takes much less time than the chimes.

Wonderful, but please update for iOS 11 so I can update my device.

A bit disappointed. The app icon on my iPad screen shows the generic three circle and x. Not iPad friendly as the screen does not rotate to landscape. I would also like to hear higher-quality chimes.

It didn’t work at first but I turned the iPod off three times and now it’s fine

I have two devices that chime as well as to mechanical clocks at home that chime. I set them a minute early or late and I would like to be able to set my phones a little early or a little late so that everything doesn’t go off all at once.

You could add more times if you wanted to, but I think that might be gilding the Lily. Great app. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

Can you put this app on android tablet and android phone too Like make a copy?

works great on phone but I was hoping for a simple beep beep hourly chime for my Apple Watch s4

Ios 12 in one of its versions broke app functionality.

I like the different Chimes that you can plug into it. I like the fact you can turn it off whenever you like.

Overhaul if you only like to hear chimes and not look at a clock this is one great app. The only thing I would suggest a option to have a clock or a grandfather clock.

I think it’s important to be able to adjust the speed rate of the sound I downloaded the grandfather clock and it sounds like it is playing slow than normal there should be a way to adjust this too

Can there be some free grandfather clock chimes? I use to have a grandfather clock app but it is not in the app store. If you can do that, I would for sure use it even more.

It works well with beautifully sounding chimes. It’s like having a grandfather clock! Just note that if you use the scheduler (instead of “all day”), make sure the total hours in a day are 12 or less, or it won’t make the sounds.

The chimes get tiring so tried the “spoken”. Love it ! Spoken has been on my phone for many months and I never tire of it. Just the right of options. Wish the half hour included the specific hour. I see “spoken on my phone forever

The chimes make me remember being in my grandparents house. I love it because it keeps me on track. Drives my husband crazy...

The clock tower and my phone are sinked. I always have the chimes even when I can’t hear the clock tower.

I would like more chimes. The chimes sound alike just patterns is different along with names. But it does come in handy when I d my Apple Watch at home.

I’ve been using this app for over 3 years and absolutely love it! When I updated my phone to IOS 14, however, the bells stopped ringing. Not sure if it is just me or an app glitch. Please fix it as I miss the chimes!

If Westminster Chimes doesn’t work on iOS 14, you might want to delete the app and reinstall.

The app works as advertised, which is wonderful for helping keep up with time. My only complaint is that the Westminster chime is slow.

Solution is to delete the app entirely then reinstall

I really like hearing the time. Some days I loose track of time, this app has really helped me to stop wasting time and be more aware of the hour.
