This game is so DEEP. This was a VERY VERY good game.. made me cry a little 😭

The game itself is the perfect mix between difficult and easy. I do like how it shows you what the game is before you buy it, but I do wish it was free. Overall I would say the game is great with a good and sad storyline.

So the graphics the game all beautiful but the game does not save my progress so I hope they fix this

The story, the concept, the execution. Everything is amazing, I downloaded this a few years ago when it was in development still and I was blown away, this project has been something I’ve loved and looked forward to every step of the way.

i really do like the point and click puzzles but was very disappointed to find out that you have to pay to play the full game as it doesn’t say anything about that in the description (though i believe it’s only $1.99)

I’ve played this game multiple times through the last two years, and it never truly gets old. First play through I lost it and sobbed for at least three hours, and couldn’t stop thinking about it for months. I recommend it. You won’t be disappointed (but you will be very sad)

Absolutely love the art style and story telling. Owl is so cute and it is easy to get attached to his character which made the ending that much more heartbreaking. A lovely game and lovely experience.

What a lovely game! Not too long, can be played in about an hour or less, and the story is easy to follow. It was more engaging than I thought it would be, and the art and music were beautifully done. I would love to listen to that music on a walk outside ❤️

this game was beautiful, amazing art and details. I’d recommend though if you are planning to buy the full version, to get it before beginning the trial, as you’ll have to start over from the beginning. other than that I did need help from some walkthroughs on specific parts but it was still interesting and enjoyable.

This is one of the best games I downloaded before I was amazed by the art work, songs, and plot of the game. This game really helps others when they experience the same thing and I’m glad I found this app. I finished it in one day, don’t have to pay to finish the story, and was able to enjoy the music and plot.

This game is so cute a has a great plot and the art style is beautiful would definitely recommend especially if you love puzzle games some are harder than others but that is what makes it fun so Worth my 2$!

the inability to save is a little annoying. always made me very annoyed. and then some of the puzzles felt very hard to solve without writing a ton down or looking a walkthrough up. overall very good though

It’s honestly really difficult to find mobile games that don’t shove a million ads in your face. This one was a breath of fresh air. The story was beautiful and it made me cry. The puzzles are fun and challenging. This is definitely worth the money. Thank you for making this beautiful game.

cute game but the hints don’t work

I love this game so much, it is so gorgeous with such a strong and touching story line! It was so so so worth the $2! If you like puzzle games that actually make you think, and a game with such an amazing storyline, and art style, then this is definitely a game for you! I have played this game multiple times and it NEVER and I mean NEVER gets old! I really suggest buying! 🤍

I Don’t really write a review but I had to on this fabulous piece of work! Where do I begin, the graphics were so good and the music was beautiful. This game made me feel better as well. It had a great message. It was heartwarming❤️. The puzzles were fun and challenging in the right way. The art was so pretty. Definitely worth every penny. This game is amazing. Without spoiling it I’ll just say that are are so many heartwarming moments, immediately followed by heart wrenching moments. You might have to look up a walkthrough, but it’s totally worth purchasing the whole thing. Also the main character looks eerily like me so that’s cool I guess.

I don’t usually write any reviews for a game because it just a game. This game however was absolutely amazing. The music the art etc… everything about this game gives me the chill especially the end of the game. I have no words to describe how amazing this game is. I absolutely loved it. The art and animation was wonderful and the hole game was sweet I love the store line the music and the puzzle this definitely is worth it and it cheap for what it is and I can see the time put in to this. It makes me cry every time.

I absolutely hate gaming that don’t have a ending, so this was the perfect short and sweet game I’ve found on my phone and loved it. The graphics was so sweet and the storyline made me tear up a bit but the music was calming and I did get stuck on some chapters for a bit hahaha I love this and would recommend definitely to anyone who loves easy going games with a challenge

I thought I got the whole game but I got preview. I think it would be more specific to say upfront that the free download is just a preview.

A beautiful story

I JUST finished the game and it made me realize how precious love can really be. The way the game begins to connect the dots really felt real and made me feel connected to it. I am so grateful I didn't delete it out of frustration 😂! But this right here was a complete masterpiece. I love the message and gameplay! It was so amazing. Even words can't describe my love for it.

When the Past Was Around is a beautiful game. The art is amazing and the audio is absolutely stunning. It tells a beautiful story. The puzzles are very fun and not to hard, but they still are challenging. Well worth the two dollars and would definitely recommend for anyone who’s looking for something to do.

This was a wonderful game. None of the puzzles are particularly challenging but the game isn’t really about that. The puzzles are more a fantastic way to tell the story, which is touching and will be turning in my head for a while.

I’m not the one to cry at games, but this games ending was so sad! I was like “did owl die?” And tears streaming down my face. So good!!!

I just completed the prologue - it was pretty simple and linear, there was no layering of puzzles like you would find in Cube Escape that this game is certainly inspired by. As well, some of the text in the scenes, items and click areas are just way too small. Lastly, the animated cloud box starts to become a visual annoyance after not very long. Suggest killing the animated box for sure.

The game is pretty cool but the demo is soooo short that I couldn’t really consider buying the game because I didn’t feel like there was enough info, levels, challenges to decide.

I didn’t buy the full version, did play through the prologue. The story was interesting, and the art was some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen.

Even tho I have not play the fricken game yet it looks SO cutesy I love it all ready!

I am in love with everything in the game! It was very short and sweet with beautiful art, music, and an incredible story. I enjoyed every minute and little detail involved. The story was absolutely stunning and definitely pulled at my heart.

It seems like it might be interesting, but the screen is surrounded by these wiggly lines that were constantly moving. Hard to describe, but very distracting, to the point that I stopped playing very quickly. It’s too bad.

The game was good but once you finish the prologue you have to buy the rest witch is outrageous and stupid downloading this is useless and a waste of time

I’m a little bit of a younger audience,and the reason behind my rating is because that you have to pay money just to play the game and get through.like I am not aloud to spend money.so please make it free I just wanna play the game man!
