Doesn’t handle silence in audio well. Perhaps you should provide a squelch adjustment as expected whisper doesn’t like silence.

I have used so many different voice to text applications over the past few years. For me this one works perfectly! The app does an excellent job of transcribing. Everything is stored on your phone or device and can easily be sent by email. It is exactly what I was looking for! It is such a bargain compared to some of the other apps and what they charge. Thank you!

I was somewhat doubtful about this software due to the low price but all my doubts vanished when I tried it. To my great delight it far exceeded all my expectations and proved perfect for the particular project in which I am engaged at this time. Is it perfect? No, but it is a work in progress and as it is updated will no doubt continue to be one of the very best values in this kind of software. Customer support is first class with prompt replies to any inquiries. Heartily recommended!

Great App! After being tortured by 2 other “Whisper” apps for transcribing TV interviews in foreign languages, I tried this one and wow, it was so easy to use, works great, and is much cheaper.

This app is excellent and a great value. The one thing it’s missing is the ability to change the Fn hotkey shortcut to something different. As it works now, anytime I forward delete on my Mac (Fn + Delete) the dictation triggers and it inserts random text into my input.

It does one thing, and does it extremely well: no need to fiddle, no interruptions with scammy ads, just pure note taking and transcripts without the hassle. It’s now become my prime goto when I have an idea or need to capture something: the accuracy is impressive and the one-button experience can’t be beaten. Coupled with GPT to clean up and organize the transcript in a more polished version that can even be shared is the perfect workflow. Hugely, hugely recommended.

This app does a wonderful job of transcribing and exceeds my expectations with its accuracy. It does a much better job than the native Apple dictation in iOS 26, which has actually regressed. This app is well worth the $4. 99. I also tested it to make sure that it could be used offline and it can be used offline. Very happy that I purchased this app and I highly recommend it.

The main app itself works fine but I just wanted something that I can transcribe from audio to text in Apple Shortcuts. The integration is minimal and not particularly useful.

This app is straightforward and works well. @Yeonni, Please add batch export! Batch exporting all text would help me organize and categorize my thoughts using an LLM (fast) What this app does: Record your thoughts (mostly accurately) by speaking them out loud throughout the day. You can keep the audio recordings if you want. You can select a voice clip/transcript to copy it. (But can’t export/“copy all text” all at once)

Had a small feature request and was fulfilled and updated within a week. I hope this app goes far.

This is a wonderful speech-to-text app -- so much more accurate than Appl'e Siri voice transcription. Maybe 3% as many errors. Will it ever support Metal or the neural engine to improve performance? UPDATE: I recently did a lecture transcript from an audio file, and the last 80% or so of the text lacked any punctuation -- just a huge stream of words with no commas, periods, etc. It would be fantastic, but maybe difficult or impossible?, to have WhisperNotes reliably add not only punctuation

Allow either an auto share so you can pick a message to send the text to or integrate into an iMessage app. This would seal the deal for this app. Thanks.

Your app seems to be broken. All I get is the search function at the top of the screen, and when I hit record record something it doesn’t record a thing. you might want to check into this, not working at all.

It does have a high accuracy. But it can be better with real time transcript!

I love this app on my phone and computer. Simple and precise. Far better than siri for spelling and punctuation. Copies directly to clipboard when finished for pasting into any app you want.

Great app! Because it takes quite a bit of time to process before copying the transcription to your clipboard, please consider adding a chime after processing is complete so you don’t need to check the screen every few seconds to know.

The app does what it says and totally worth $3. That said, I lost an important recording because I think iOS terminated the app in the background before transcription completed. I think that recording may be lost now? I hope not. It would be nice if we could defer transcription until later when I know I’ll have time for longer notes

Whisper is a pain to install on the Mac if you don't already have a bunch of frameworks installed. It's great to have a graphic itnerface for it from a free program. I only wish there was a way to delete unused languages and alter settings via the GUI.

The accuracy is quite good, enough for casual note taking. Especially it also supports the audio recordings. I only have one wish of batch export and delete those exported. My intention is to export the notes to my journal system. Thanks for creating and sharing such wonderful tool!

Just purchased because it said you can upload videos but it only allows from the files not your camera roll.

I like this concept, as I am off grid a lot and prefer to keep AI off my phone. However, I downloaded the app and it only worked the first time. On my second test, it’s been trying to transcribe a one minute recording for half an hour and it still not completed. In addition, the app keeps closing itself.
