12 Positive User Reviews for Whole Foods Market
Landscape Mode???
Why does this app only work in portrait mode on the IPad? Almost every other app works in both landscape and portrait. Three stars because Whole Foods has had years to fix this problem and it has not been addressed.
Not as clean cut to use as the Kroger app
Wish it was easier to find & clip the coupons for the products I want. Not that that’ll really help me now that I don’t have food stamps anymore because SNAP benefits changes again!
Sends promotional notifications even though you shut off notifications
Inside the app you can turn off notifications, but Whole Foods has decided to ignore that and bother you with notifications anyway. It’s dishonest but Whole Foods does it anyway.
9 Negative User Reviews for Whole Foods Market
Glitchy
Besides similar complaints, it often doesn’t work outside the store— claiming no internet.
App doesn’t do much
Sales do not come up and search does not work well
Awful interface
This app desperately needs a new interface upgrade, as well as repair. For instance, would be so much more streamlined to simply say one brand has such-and-such spice on sale, rather than list 37 varieties of that same brand in the Sales section. Make the Sales part stand out more by changing up its placement. But that’s one very small example and not very comprehensive of all the changes needed to bring this clunker some life.
No receipt option
I only use it so I can double my credit card reward point but I hate that I can’t view my receipt within the app. A major inconvenience when I need to return something because the employees never know how to look a receipt by the order number displayed in the app.
How is Amazon considered a top tech company?
Ux is bad. Location service prompting doesn't work. And i cant even order pizza which is the only reason I installed it. Embarrassing
Selecting a store only works if the app doesn’t have location permissions
If you want to select a store to see all the sales, and the prices of everything, you need to cancel the location permissions. Don’t ask why. Makes no sense.
Hopefully that’s the worst of it, and this isn’t the start of the long-standing Android issue where you can’t select a store to see the prices at all.
Considering how poorly designed the app is, I suspect it might be the latter.
Searching is so frustrating!
It is oftentimes impossible to find items I’m searching for with this app. These are items that I’m looking at on the shelf or on the website, so they should come up in the search.
Search capability is useless!
I know Whole Foods sells coffee beans and K cups, but searching on “coffee” only turns up one brand of coffee and no K cups. Searching “k cup” and “coffee k cups” turns up nothing!
My prior (non-coffee) searches didn’t go any better.
Shopping list is pathetic
Doesn’t tell you what aisle number products are on in your specified store. Does not list the brand names in your list— if I add 19 Crimes Chardonnay to my shopping list, it only says “Chardonnay 750ml.” This is the guy who built Amazon???
