This app is a must-have if you are a music lover

Great app, so glad something like this exists. Spotify connect doesn’t work for me though.

“Who sampled Who” is a MUST HAVE for any enthusiast worth their salt…! Period , Point, Blank…!

You all take the time to do very detailed research and implement an outstanding product. It is almost like a maze I find a song from a group like the Digable Planets ; and not only listen to the original but other songs by that original artist. Keep up the great work!

Always want to know where samples came from and this app lets you find out where it was used either by artist or song. LOVE THIS APP!!!!

Everytime I go on the app I find great artist and musicians of the past that hip hop producers sample from.... The music of the 70's era is the best ever all genres.

For the price of the app you can only scan and recognize samples in your Apple or Spotify playlists. To scan music that is playing around you, you have to pay a yearly subscription. That info should have been front and center. Not a bad buy, if you are a producer or DJ it could be beneficial to pay the subscription if the features work well.

As an audio enthusiast and dj, this app has helped me track down samples from songs and has given me so much information. Very easy to use.

This is the best app for finding the sources of samples in your favorite music. I only have the 5$ version, but I will bet the subscription service they provide is 5 stars as well.

I have been using the web version for quite a while and finally decided to pull the trigger and support by getting the app. Keep it up!

I bought it years ago. I noticed hardly nothing from the country rappers (upchurch, calhoun, etc) Not sure if they arent updating the app. But what they do have is like an encyclopedia of music history. Just amazing.

First off, this app does exactly what it should. I never write reviews but i gotta for this one. There is literally no other platform or app like it. A must have for music lovers. Disclaimer: not every song is in their database, information is user entered similar to Wikipedia. Much love!!

WhoSampled is totally unrivaled in what it offers music lovers, and is just one of my all-time favorite apps in general.

Needs update the app will not play music from Spotify anymore.

So they start by making it seem that you get the whole app for 3.99 but then reveal that you have to pay $10 a year to use it with automatic recognition. Spotify samples don’t play even though it’s connected. So I’m left with only knowing what the samples on a track are if I search and then can’t listen to them unless there’s one from YouTube. And yes I have a paid for Spotify

… the app has always been frustrating to use since it has never implemented iPad compatibility. and, with the introduction of iOS/iPadOS 26 — since this app has never been iPad compatible — it’s now become infuriating since it can’t support proper window sizing (especially when I want to use it with other apps). I just can’t see myself using it anymore.
