I don't know why more sailors are not finding out about this app.... but they need to. Combined with a VERY inexpensive/low power Raspberry Pi or iKommunicate, anything and everything that transmits NMEA data can be displayed on your iPhone, iPad, iWatch and even an Apple TV. You can even receive your ships data anywhere on the planet via an internet connection. The support is excellent. The engineer implemented AIS and walked me through how it works. No need to buy an AIS that has WIFI.

I use the Signal K server on an RPi to aggregate data from my home automation system and then visualize the output on WilhelmSK. Awesome app, saved me loads of time and looks great.

This developer is the most responsive and attentive I have ever experienced. Stacks up against N2KView all day! This is the best NMEA 2000 instrument viewer. Plus Victron Venus OS views, and Navionics maps with Active Captain and AIS overlay!

I’m using OpenPlotter to gather a lot of data on my boat. Running WilhelmSK on an old iPad is a great way to turn that data into useable information. After adding a charting app my nav station looks like a thousand bucks!

All the data I need on my watch phone or iPad. Controlling the autopilot from the watch has been huge.

This app represents a new step in bringing marine data into the hands of boat owners and anyone who has ever wanted to know more about the systems on their boat in a uniform, open manner.

I have a basic raymarine seatalk ng system on a sailboat. It includes a p70/ACU-200/EV-1 autopilot, wireless wind (T120 and T112), micro-talk gateway, Axiom 7 MFD, and YDWG. Not only can I see wind, gps, and rudder reference data in this app, but I can also control the autopilot!! It took only a few minutes to setup and even though I had the settings incorrect on my first go, Scott Bender’s advice fixed it right away. Definitely reach out before giving up!

This app saved me from complicating my system. I already had all the hardware I needed and this enabled me to get what I was needing out of it. It get the signal from my multiplexer, which for me is my Vesper, and all the NMEA 2000 sensors that feed into it. Thanks Scott.

Really great App. Easy to connect, reliable, everything great but I don’t have a GPS on my boat so I’d like to use the iPhone GPS directly or connecting to a GPS server app such as GPS2IP. Is this configuration supported?
