11 Positive User Reviews for Windandtides
must-have for Bay Area sailors
this app is simple and concise and has a ton of incredibly useful sailing information for the bay. It is the one app I use every time I go out.
It would be cool
But it's only for San Francisco.
It's a nice app have.
I look at this app almost every day.
Great resource for sf sailing.
Great app. Use it all the time. Only wish the wind monitoring station on Angel island would get fixed.
Great app for a fair price
This app is simple to use and is exactly what's needed for a day sail on the Bay. My instructor introduced me to it and I have using it ever since. Highly recommended.
I use it every day
I sail every weekend. And I have a lot of very fancy apps with very fancy graphs and very fancy bells and whistles, but wind and tides is the app I come back to over and over again, because when you are out on the water simplicity is king. One click, one glance, and I know everything I need to know. Thanks gents!

As a keen amateur yachtsman and racer in the SF Bay this is my go-to app for wind and tides.
Angel Island winds?
I have used this app for a couple months, and have never seen any reports for Angel Island. Is their weather station out of service? Otherwise, I like this app and use it frequently.
critical utility, yet needs maintenance
outage right now with their host, total server solutions, llc. big red flag warning coming so need critical info. i depend on this app and i know the sailing community can help. how can we help?
My go to
This is the best app out there for SF Bay marine weather and tide information. I’ve used it every day for a decade or so.

Warning! Tide/current predictions are very different from other sources. For example, Wednesday June 26 on this app shows max ebb at 06:11 of 2.9 knots. Other sources say 5.5 knots! And about a half hour later at the Gate.
The same day max flood on this app is at 13:12 at 4 knots. Other sources say 4.4 knots about a half hour later at the gate!
It would be nice to have the tides and currents listed include 2-3 hours earlier to have better idea what is happening currently.
