I just bought an IMac computer and wish I could down load this app on my computer. That is my only complaint. I would love to have it on a bigger screen cuz I love the wind map. I live by the wind and use this app every day. I appreciate its accuracy. Thanks Zac Ransom

This is my go to wind app for fishing small boats that is amazingly accurate.

I thoroughly enjoy this app. As a boater, I never plan a trip without consulting with my Windfinder App. This app is easy to use and data driven which makes for an excellent boating experience!!

Boat, fish or hunt much? I usually care much more about the wind direction and speed than the temps as this info is often make or break for my activities. Ever watch the local news go from who-cares point to who-cares point to note the meaningless 2 degree difference and never give you the wind direction or speed? I use this app all the time. Invaluable in planning my day n trips outdoors! Save all your favorites. Highly recommend!!

I am a Chater fishing captain and use a variety of apps to keep my clients safe on our fishing trips. I use Windfinder for the prediction of wind and waves. With wind, they are good. With waves, they are consistently bad. I routinely add 1-2’ to their predictions in the 2-5’ range. Sometimes, they are WAY off, which costs me money and reputation. When Windfinder tells me the wind is 15-18 and waves 2’, I KNOW they are WAY OFF. The waves will 3-5’, especially if it’s been blowing for a couple of

I rely on Windfinder to pick my boating days in the Florida Keys. The simple hour by hour format allows me to get on and off the ocean safely.

Have increasingly overtime used this app for ALL my weather related needs now. I’m retired and live on the Fla panhandle coast and do tons of outdoor/offshore activities through a narrow, very shallow inlet. Having timely confidence in my wind and wave direction, size and speed means EVERYTHING for me as I’m able to have magnificent experiences time and again using Windfinder Plus. Great site look at it twice a day

Fantastic boating tool for sail and power.. right on forecast for irma in 2017. Wind, tide, waves, rain and temp in one place. Only reason for four not five stars is the long range forecast on map was about 10 days and now just two days. I use it almost every day!!

Been using Windfinder for the past 12 years and they’re not perfect, but I can count on them for a fairly good idea of what to expect for weather.

I don’t leave the house and head for the dock without checking the wind.

The wind forecast for super forecast versus regular forecast is often different. We notice that if it is slightly inclement on one and it is much better on super forecast why is that? It should be more consistent.

WindFinder is the best cruising guide I’ve found. In one glance, you can see wind force and direction, hour by hour; precipitation type and amounts; tide status; and cloud cover. It’s been invaluable in helping plan sailing trips this summer.

I own a 61’ Viking Flybridge Cruiser and live in Miami and cross the Gulf Stream to where it is better the Bahamas often but never without checking Windfinder plus first so I know what the ride will be like. Honestly the boat can take way more than it’s skipper. I love the fun hate the work. Windfinder tells me which I will have.

I’ve been using this app for years. I fly general aviation, skydive, surf and sail. All my hobbies are wind intensive. This app is usually very accurate and and map function makes it easy to visualize what the wind is doing locally and across whatever geography I’ll be traversing through.

Most helpful app that I have found for reading off shore conditions a must when planning trips off shore for me as a reasonable forecast as far as wind and waves is important as I am 7 hr drive from OB and important to have an accurate predictions on conditions for planning trips off shore great resource

Absolutely great app very helpful a tool that we need since we finish approximately 12 months a year. Fishing the north east Atlantic in the summer and fall and going to the keys all winter and spring, wouldn’t leave the dock before we looked at the app. important tool
