8 Positive User Reviews for Winterlore I

Great debut for an indie production

As others have mentioned, the game is a little on the short side. But it held my interest from start to finish, and the puzzles were, for the most part, based on common sense logic. Reminiscent of the Rusty Lake series of games, it provided a burst of entertainment for a brief period of time. Looking forward to downloading and trying the sequel.

Really nice…

Great sound effects, and a simple theme. Search for clues one-at-a-time. Lovely graphics. Easy to play. Not too long. Be sure to do Part II…

Short but sweet!

Puzzles are challenging and interesting with haunting audio and beautiful art. My only complaint is that the game is quite short and has little replay value if you can still remember how to solve each puzzle. All in all, recommended!

Great short game

Totally worth the 99 pennies. Think Cube Escape with a slightly different look and a few extra areas to explore. Game mechanics are solid, puzzles are challenging but not unsolvable. I played Winterlore 2 as well and now I’d love to see #3.

Great but short!

Really cool puzzle art music and story but it was over so quick! Not sure if I want to buy chapter 2 if it’s also so short.

Takes about 30 minutes

I like the graphics, kinda like the Rusty Lake series. Just know that this takes maybe 30 min to complete.

Great game

I honestly thought the game was fun and entertaining I didn’t really understand the ending though, was it her husband or someone else?

Amazing Game

I love it. You need to play it.
