Excellent app and has great features. I love using wiz app to control lights from anywhere or change the colors etc.. it’s easy to download and install.

Everyone likes this older app, and hates the new “Wiz Connected” app… this has been going on for a year or more, so why don’t they give up on the new one already?? I have a few suggestions to improve this one but I can’t imagine they will even listen since I assume development is focused on their newer app. Someone needs to get a clue, admit defeat, and avoid further customer confusion or desertion.

This app is fine. It does the job. I wanted to write here: If you force migration to the nonfunctional new app, I will begin organizing a class action lawsuit. I’ve spent hundreds and filled my home with wiz bulbs. If they become nonfunctional it will be very bad. This v1 app is fine. Not intuitive and sometimes buggy, but sufficient.

ever since daylight savings last month, my schedules have been wonky and have a mind of their own. my lights keep going on and off at times they’re not supposed to. why???? everything’s been working just fine for the last few years :/

Instructions should include the fact only 1 cell phone may be connected to a smart bulb per household. Otherwise, one phone cancels the operation on a second cell phone.

WiZ Flush Mount smart led light links easily with the WiZ legacy app to Alexa, using the iPhone. It does not work with the WiZ v2 app; it unlinks from Alexa. Also, the WiZ legacy app will not open when WiZ v2 is open. I used the WiZ legacy app on my iPhone and it went smoothly! This is day one. I will update if it should disconnect/unlink.

Never using the “Wiz 2” app again.

I never write reviews but for this app , its a first , it never connects to my phone ( it sometimes does , more like a 30/70 chance it does) and its very frustrating please fix , same could be said for the second app ( im going to copy & paste for my 2nd review to be heard)

I have had my lights for around 2-3 years now. They have worked fine until recently. The app said theres no available network and it wont let me repair the lights. I have watched the videos and followed all the steps and checked my network.

I just switched back to this legacy app from V2 and I’m so happy it still works. Can’t wait to delete the V2 app!!!

I can’t say how much I love the legacy version. I’ve tried V2 twice to test it and then after they allegedly made upgrades. I WILL NEVER use the new app. If they discontinue this one, I’ll find another brand. This app may not be the prettiest, but it’s simple to use, it’s efficient, and IT WORKS!! Phillips, LISTEN to your customers, THEY DO NOT LIKE the upgraded app.

Have used the app for years now with no problem. The new version is abysmal, so I reverted back to the original version 1 and am happy again.

The light works well and is great if you want a light that is custom to your needs.Whenever I sleep if you accidentally sleep with your light on you can turn it off with auto schedule which is helpful for me.

This original WiZ app works pretty well. Its fairly intuitive and you get a lot of options. I use it for automation of about a dozen indoor and outdoor light bulbs. Connecting new lights can occasionally take a few minutes, but I have never had connectivity issues once connected, with this app. The main problem is the “v2” app, which is considered the update to this, except it’s complete trash. So easy to set up! I purchased 2 light bulbs for my bedroom lamps but I really had no idea how easy and fun it would be! The convenience of having the app to turn them on and off and the color changing option is awesome. I love the sunset setting at nighttime. Great product.

I did not see a way to auto preset the light to go on/off at a specific time.

The schedule function, and rhythms dont properly work every time. And also, it wouod be better if there was an “OFF” option in the rhythms where the light would just be OFF during the particular section of the cycle/rhythm

On an iPhone SE (2016) on iOS 15.6.1. Been getting a Network Error whenever I want to save a scene or make a schedule. Have deleted and redownloaded the app twice. Any ideas for this fix? Love the lights otherwise (for the price point)!

Love not having to get up to turn on a lamp or being able to turn off/on lights when away from home. A small expense for such a big convenience. The Wiz app is so easy.

Makes life with light bulbs so easy.

These lightbulbs are the coolest things that I have bought in a long time. They have so many different options for colors of lights for different occasions, different seasons. It is really amazing how good they work and I just absolutely love them.

Great app for controlling smart lighting. When it works it is great. After daylight savings ended, schedules start an hour earlier… 🤔 Can we get a fox for this?

I just got two Phillips smart bulbs that use WiZ. So far they’re working well. Set up with this app was easy and I am able to easily change settings on the bulbs. I really like the features and ability to turn on/off and set time limits…there are a lot of color options and modes.. i’d recommend it if your looking for bulbs and an app that have lots of option.

It’s my first time doing SmartThings at home and this product make things so much fun and easy to use plus I can use my google home without not problems.

App is tough to use Schedules for because of the limits of static start/end times. When you change the start time, it keeps the same duration, moving up the end up equally. Please fix by allowing sunrise, sunset settings.

Do everything the app and the instructions tell me to do and it just keeps telling me that it can’t find any devices. I restart everything and try again and still nothing. That’s why I got it. And I can’t use the voice command. And yes, it says on the box and instructions that this bulb is voice activated. And when I look up the options the only bums it show are A19’s and I have an A21. Don’t see why that would matter if it says that works with Alexa and Siri.

I have the Wiz - Phillips RGB true colors and they have worked flawlessly for over a year! The colors and intensity is amazing! I can actually make the color brown with them. It’s great! All of the setup is quick and easy, and the controls work really well! Pretty much everything is great, but the one thing keeping it from five stars is that it doesn’t connect to the Apple home network, which would allow it to be controlled by Siri.

It can’t be that hard to make a smaller Home Screen widget.

I like the app and it is very useful, but there’s one function that would make my life so much easier. When you are creating Rhythms you can make a section of time where the light is completely off. I don’t want the night light while I’m sleeping, but I want the light to turn on in the morning. Please add an off option for rhythms please.

I’d like to be able to get more patterns to play through. Otherwise I live these lights and have for years. Thanks very much for the products!

It would be nice if the widget could turn my lights on and off without opening the app. Otherwise great app!

Great app. Just disconnected from Wi-Fi time to time. Otherwise works well and I love the color options. I have 2 bulbs to combine colors together!

This really getting annoying, I cannot connect my lights and don’t understand, also the lights have bad connection. I used to have an account but I deleted the app, then I couldn’t figure out how to log back on. I see the idea of this app, but it does not work for me.

After over THIRTY tries, I finally connected one lightbulb to my phone! Woo hoo.
