The original scrabble app was great until they changed it. This one is the best one out there now. Please don’t change it.

This is a great alternative to the official (and horrible) Scrabble app, but I wish he would add one simple feature in the game preferences: the option to always go first when playing against the computer.

This is how you do a premium game! Free version is great too. Only request would be to add more customization!

I’m 79 years old now and this game is wonderful for keeping my mind sharp. I love it and I encourage others to play as well.

First off, I always play against the computer on “easy” to ensure a win. After I play my tiles I can click a button and see what other words I could have played and how many points they were worth and where they could have been placed on the board. This helps me understand how to improve, which I appreciate

Wow! This is a fantastic app. We used to enjoy playing the Scrabble app, but this is so much better. No longer do you need to mourn the loss of that old app. You can configure the board anywhere you like, and play at a variety of levels. Everything about this game is aesthetically pleasing and a joy to use. And the developer is very responsive to suggestions. Don’t hesitate to get the pro version. It’s super worth it.

Wordmaster is a sophisticated version of the classic board game of my youth. Every enthusiast should appreciate it immensely. Thank you! Finally found a scrabble game that can be played solo. And, this Word Master–Pro game is without ads. A nice scrabble game without silly cartoons or awards. To the developers of this game: thank you!

I love the game and it is challenging but keeps freezing up.

Feature to edit the board is fantastic. Editing the dictionary also good. And, it is really easy to learn a new word's meaning by swiping on it - an innovative feature. Perhaps a bit too permissive in accepting obscure words, e.g. obsolete words. On the whole, great. I play it several times daily.

How is “Sunday” not a word in the English dictionary???

I have multiple dictionaries on my phone and desktop , the computer/app played a word spelled wrong. I also did a web search on the spelling and couldn’t find the word as spelled.

This is the best word game ever, there’s only a one time fee, not a monthly.

Have been looking for a Scrabble-type game that doesn't have rewards and ads and bells and whistles and demands playing with friends or strangers. I wanted something that would simply let me play against the computer. Pay version, yes, but WELL worth a few bucks to avoid all the extra, unnecessary features. THANK YOU!!

If you hanker to play better Scrabble with friends, use this app to experiment with words and strategies. The machine is infinitely patient with you, but instant in its own plays. (Be still my heart.) Choosing the level of difficulty for your mood is great! Be cautious though: As in all AI games, the AI is a quick study!

This game is fun while still challenging. I play against the iPhone so the game can go quickly. There are different levels of challenge so the game won’t get boring. I recommend this.

Excellent!! I really love this game it’s extremely relaxing. It never has issues and it’s always a fun challenge to play against the computer.

I got this free version to replace the original Scrabble I had used for years. Unfortunately, they got greedy and wanted me to upgrade to an expensive version. Since I didn't, annoying ads popped up after every move. That's when I said goodbye and opted for free versions such as this one. I'm very happy with this game June 2017-I lowered my rating by 1 because I wish it had Scrabble's ability to rapidly recall tiles from the board instead of doing so individually. There are way too many invalid words being used when playing vs the computer. Too many to list, actually and always when making other words in addition to the initial placement. The latest one was Jumpx Seriously?

Much better than the popular “Words” competition. More like the original game and more true to an actual dictionary. Not messed up with goofy incentives that no one cares about. Bravo!

This is a great app! I upgraded to the pro version not because the ads bothered me - they didn’t - but because the developer offered the pro version at a very reasonable price. Love the app and appreciate the developer.

Lots of customization in terms of point values and board layout so you can play pretty much any game you want. Also doesn't require data to play, which is great for me.

This is a fun game that makes you think and keeps you on your toes! It’s a great alternative to a regular crossword game. I love the hints. The easy section is not hard at all once you get used to the “rhythm” of the game. Hope you have fun!

None of the social media garbage that dominates other games, like scrabble go and words with friends. Excellent game play

This app is addictive. I love playing against the computer. Looking forward to playing against others. It helps me to learn new words and their meaning. I have the actual board game, but this is so convenient to play!

This is the crossword-style game you’re looking for. Straightforward with a decent AI. Not 500 ads after every play. No upselling, though I did opt for the ad free version, which also includes a few other perks. No memberships coins or games that are completely unrelated to what you’re trying to play. Exactly what you want.

Was looking to sideload old Scrabble app (which was replaced by the HORRIBLE Scrabble GO), when I happened upon Word Master. If you love Scrabble, you'll love it. Dictionary isn't perfect but overall very good. I play the hardest level competitively. One of the best features is that you can look up definitions right in the app. Love that you can also see what the highest scoring words were for you previous turn. Highly recommended.

Have loved Scrabble all my life. Now for a few quiet minutes a day I can relax with my coffee and play against my phone! Love it. Nicely put together and sensibly organized.

Easy to play with or with out wi-Fi. Ads are no bother!
