12 Positive User Reviews for WordSnap
Just perfect
WordSnap, an AI-based tool, speeds up language learning by allowing users to snap or import a photo. It detects words, and automatically adds translations, examples, and definitions.
Two important needs of German learners
The app is good and somewhat practical. But as a German learner, I hope to be able to control the capitalization of the first letter of the word, because the German writing rules determine the difference in the capitalization of the first letter of nouns and other words. In addition, I hope that the translation of nouns should include the gender of the noun. The lack of the above two functions in the app will cause great learning obstacles for German learners. Thank you!
Great start
Is a new app, but it is looking good. UI is beautiful. It just needs some more features: import cards from Anki and CSV, auto generate cards with images.
感谢😊
方便快捷实用!
但是,有个问题:为什么单词发音不对呢?怎么设置正确的发音。

Great app!
Very useful reference tool and vocabulary builder.
Genuinely useful application of AI to language learning
This app is combining OCR & generative AI to make flash card creation easy. I’m very impressed by how well it works.
I recently went to Italy and took a bunch of pictures of signs at the museums, and I used the app to quickly generate flash cards for the words I don’t know
It has some room for improvements, but I think this is a very solid step forward in this category of apps
Very good app! But need to improving for Deutsch
For Deutsch words it will be separated nouns from its definite article when scan from book. This really need to adjust. As definite is critical for learners! Pls also cancel auto-capital feature! Thanks!
Everything works fine except the Ai assistant
Loves this app, particularly the ability to scan and capture the words I want. But the Ai assistant never works for me somehow.
Essential tools for learning languages
Wordsnap has been a game-changer for my vocabulary. I can't recommend it enough.
Potential
This program has a lot of potential. Its functionality could be even more powerful. It shouldn't be limited to just memorizing words, but could become a tool for learning and remembering. Here are a few areas that need improvement:
1. The title section could import images from previous scans.
2. The AI needs to be more reliable. Currently, it often fails to produce the desired results.
Pretty good but suggestions
How about generating an entire deck of cards on a topic with AI?
or uploading pdf to turn class notes/slide to decks?
