Buggy

The calls fail 50% of the time, and the locations do not update as frequently as I need them to. The exact locations are also inaccurate. These issues are not comforting when I hoped to trust the service for my child’s safety.

I want to love this so bad

Everything is great other than he’s only able to send voice memo and photo to me who created the account through the app. I want him to be able to message and send photos directly to all the people I’ve set up in his contact list. I can’t even make his father a guardian to also track his location or send him voice notes or pictures :(

Can’t sign up

I just bought this watch when I try to open a new account, a message pops up and says something went wrong!

Getting better with each update

Have to give credit where it is due. The app used to be very unresponsive, geolocation was imprecise at best, and the app would log you out for no reason and would not remember your login data. All small but frustrating details of which many have been now resolved. It’s still not perfect but far better than once ago. Kudos to the dev team.

Love it, small improvements

Overall we love the app and the watch. Honestly the only improvement I’d like is the ability to edit the quick text responses of the watch. Would like: yes, no, on my way (All the best is not a phrase used in the US, so that could be led out for this market.). Otherwise, it’s a really solid product that we love and I’ve recommended over and over to friends and family.

I like the easy to use app and platform

So far so good

Bought the XPlora x5 smartwatch to track my elementary school child. Apprehensive due to poor reviews in App store in spite of good reviews about the smart watch elsewhere. The App and phone seems to work the intended functionality so far. Our experience is only for a few hours and also with the smart watch also connected to wifi and using the sim card. Will update the review if our experience changes.

Email login disappeared

Since the time I got x5 to track my kids, I have always logged in with my email. Since the last update, I got logged out and the email login disappeared. Need to login every time there r is an update and now this. The product itself is good for the purpose I got it for but has a lot of teething issues. Every update comes with a new surprise.

Buggy

Having an issue where a previous text keeps showing up as the last text but it’s dated 5 months ago. Seems I don’t have an option to delete it so it will always be there. Very annoying. I do like this option rather than a phone but the app needs some updates.

Glitchy

The app is always freezing and crashing. Very unhappy with Xplora. I often can’t even call or text my kids when I need to.

QR Code invalid

Bought this watch and can’t use it because the QR code is invalid despite following the instructions.
